I own the first one. I've not read it though. Something somehow doesn't sit right with me, in regard to the plot.
I'll probably give it a chance eventually though.

Its a good book, the first one. The thing is, since its the start of a new series and it takes care of introducing the plot and all that, well, it get a little heavy to read. Once you get into it tho, its very like-able 3nodding

I read this right after it came out. The beginning was hard to get into but once the plot was incorporated I got into it. Vin kinda reminded me of Rehv and the main dude [whose name I can't remember] reminded me of Butch. Its worth the read and I can't wait until the second one comes out just to see what happens.

 †The Name's Xalia
Jim. His name was Jim. xD.
I liked it, it was pretty good. I honestly can't wait until the next one comes out, which I'm guessing it's the next book since there was no excerpt for the next BDB book at the end of JM's.

Personally the angels where my final step into liking this books. they where hilarious, and the little hints Jim was getting while thinking to himself maybe they weren't hints and he had just gone crazy made me laugh too.

I am also curious about this. I am excited to read it but I wonder, do you think it will be linked...like a possible expansion of BDB?
I only ask because in a short intro, you could see that the main character of FA was chilling at the Iron Mask (Rehv's second nightclub). I think he even made reference to a BDB character that he noticed there.
The probability is likely small. I realize there must be several series out there by the sae author where the different characters mesh. I guess I'm just hoping for the BDB to never end. *chuckles*

Deathgaze -13- I own the first one. I've not read it though. Something somehow doesn't sit right with me, in regard to the plot. I'll probably give it a chance eventually though. I had a similar reaction to it as well...I got about 1/4 of the way through it a couple of months ago and then I just stopped. I don't know. The characters seem to frustrate me. I mean, not all of them, actually...I don't know what it is that frustrates me exactly. Maybe their obliviousnes... I do love Marie-Therese though. She's one of my favs. Though I think i might have spelled her name wrong xd

Oh man yeah, those guys are too awesome xd I think you're right though about the intro stuff being a bit heavy...that's probably the real reason I was getting frustrated--I just wanted the action to happen already! Setup's taking sooo long gonk I think I'm gonna go at it again tonight maybe or er...considering the time here maybe it would be best to wait until tomorrow xd

The Fuzzy Fairy I am also curious about this. I am excited to read it but I wonder, do you think it will be linked...like a possible expansion of BDB?

The probability is likely small. I realize there must be several series out there by the sae author where the different characters mesh. I guess I'm just hoping for the BDB to never end. *chuckles* Well since the books take place in the same area you do see several of the BDB characters pop up every now and again. For example, Marie-Therese runs into Phury while in a group meeting. Chances are that they'll continue to be seen every now and again. I feel like the world we're thrown into in FA also tells us a bit more about the Omega and the Scribe Virgin...though, it's not a direct connection just yet. I suspect that the creator of the angels and their world and the demons and their world are the parents of the Omega and the Scribe Virgin. I'm kind of hoping this will be explained at least a little bit in this series. That would be awesome.
