C.S Lewis, author of many things ranging from poetry to essays to novels. Also a bachelor for most of his life, certainly a celebrate author.
His most well known work today would probably be the Chronicles of Narnia, but a few who decide to dwelve deeper into his works will find he wrote much more than just the famous Christian allegorical work. His works in fiction also dealt in the area known as sci-fi, a not so popular genre back in his day.

I personally am obessed with him currently. Ive read two of the space trilogy series, loving every page of the two and now awaiting to read the third. I finished his journal of how he felt after his wive's death, A Grief Observed. I liked it in a weird way of how he dealt with it though really.
I have read The Magician's Nephew and The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, but I'm going to reread them as to finish up C.S Lewis as a whole. In general I think he was a very brilliant author, his style being one I can really enjoy reading as I honestly skip over descriptions a lot of the time while reading.
Discuss:
C.S Lewis In General (Anything ranging from his life to his love life or just him as a person)
His Works
His Conversion From Atheism Into Christianity
Any other things you can think of go ahead

I've only read his Narnia books, and I really enjoyed reading them. My favorite is The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I don't usually like stories that take place on the sea, but for some reason I really like this one.

The Dawn Treader should be the next movie out in the series;

I hope they have that same actor that played Prince Caspian, since he stars in that book!

Lewis was a deft satirist, especially in Out Of The Silent Planet, and That Hideous Strength, he skewers pompous self important modern rationalists and social climbers.

his deepest work, i feel, is 'Til We Have Faces, a dark and troubling but moving retelling of the legend of Psyche.
