Alright, I thought I'd share my experience of Saturday night with y'all. I was feelin' a little down, alone in my room with nothin' to do while everyone was outside partyin' at my friend's birthday party that I wasn't invited to. Finally I decided to open up my door to see if anyone would stop by, and my friend did. After some chattin' they asked me if I'd have a shot with them for their birthday, and since it was his birthday and I didn't want to disappoint him I said yes...
Now mind you, I hadn't eaten for about 2 days and have no tolerance for alcohol since I never drink it. So 7 and a half shots later I wake up in my bed, still in my bathrobe, with a thrash can next to me and I've wet my bed. Not only that, but I haven't got a clue how I got back to my bed and can't remember the majority of the night and my glasses are missin'.
Finally my friends tell me what happened after the stuff I remember. Supposedly I was sittin' at someone's desk when I suddenly threw up all over it and collapsed to the floor. Then my friends quickly picked me up and carried me to the trash can, where I have a few short memories of throwin' up and bein' forced to drink water. Supposedly I was also asked a ton of questions to keep me conscious since my friends thought I was gonna die.
After that I was carried to my room and put in bed, where my friend checked up on me every once and a while to make sure I was alive. The next day I unfortunately have work, so I go to work feelin' incredibly awful and without my glasses, so I can't see what I'm doin'. I'm also dizzy as can be and would throw up every few minutes. The rest of the day was about the same, but then by nighttime I was feelin' better.
And that was my whole experience, which I never want to experience again.

Well.. you learned harder than I did, but good.
Next time you're offered alcohol, stick to a few drinks, do it slowly so you can monitor your level of inebriation, and eat something first.

Well I don't plan on ever drinkin' again. I only did it this one time because it was my friend's birthday and he wanted me too. My friend wants to get me wasted on my 21st birthday, but I'm not so sure I wanna go through that again.

All I can say is eat a lot if you ever do drink.
It helps a ton.
And mixed drinks too.
It slows your alcohol intake since you mix it with soda, juice, water, or whatever.
But just in case it's always good to know where a toilet is or at least a trashcan.

Just tell your friend that you don't think getting wasted is terribly interesting & there are way better things to do on your birthday.
Be blunt.
Alcoholism isn't cool, mmkay?

Well know I'm definitely not drinkin' on my birthday. I was talkin' to my dad on the phone and he sounded so upset and worried. I'd hate to put him through that again. I thought my friends were exaggeratin', but supposedly if they weren't there to keep my head up and ask me questions so I wouldn't lose consciousness I would have died, but I'm not so sure about that.

I've heard of it happening before, over zealous 21 one year old men taking 21 shots in 21 minutes, totally getting hammered, and totally dying of alcohol poisoning a day later.
Our livers can only take so much at once. ya know?
But yeah,if you don't wanna do it again, just say it was stupid and you don't wanna do it again.

Somehow this feels like deja vu.. not sure why, hasn't this happened to someone else before on here?
My view on alcohol is nothing but negative so you'll get no sympathy from me. To cut to the chase, if you don't want your father to worry, if you don't want to throw up, get hung-over, and not remember a thing? Perhaps this experience will teach you something about it. Sorry to be blunt, but as I said.. no sympathy.
Anywho, I highly doubt you would have died, woke up with a huge hang-over maybe, I know people who can down a bottle of tequila like water water they drink quiiiiite a bit.

I wasn't lookin' for sympathies at all, I know it was stupid and I know never to do it again. I just felt like postin' somethin' and it seems whenever I do that I just rant about my life, since that's totally what everyone wants to hear about. xd @Willhelm: That's my plan. I already told my friend I didn't want to do it again on my birthday, since that was the original plan.

Yeah, so I lied. I had 5 shots last night and absolutely nothin' happened and then tonight I had about 7-10 shots (since I had over a shot in each shot) and I'm currently rather drunk (takin' me a while to write this post and get rid of all the spellin' errors).
This is the last time though. I'm just not a fan of my birthday.
