I was just wondering am I the only one to explore HopexVanille as a pairing? It's kinda weird seeing as theres probably an age difference, but still I don't know it just sort of hit me like: hey they seem to be close or whatever could they be like that? [I suck at explaining things -.-]

LOL, I don't think that's gonna happen. Mostly because she's pretty much paired with Fang, from what I understand. xd
I was really hoping Lightning/Snow would happen, but... Doesn't seem too likely.

Lol...Yeah not very likely especially with the fact that he is/was engaged to her sister xd Yeahhhh... Well, thanks to the trailers, I'm already shipping SnowxSerah (Snerah?) pretty hard, so I'm not too broken up over that.  Fang and Vanille? xd I absolutely can't wait to find out about that.

Well, I had kinda gotten Lightning/Snow in my head before we'd even met Serah, so it kinda just stuck with me. Plus, Serah herself doesn't intrest me too much, so...
Yeah, Fang/Vanille seems to be throughout the entire game, from what I've heard. It's leftover from when Fang was male, I think.

When it was just Snow and Lightning, I thought they looked kinda cool together. I had also really been hoping for an epic, in-your-face main character romance storyline, after the well-maybe-they-are-and-maybe-they're-not romance of XII. And Lightning looked so cool and tough, I was really excited about the idea of a romance between a tough chick and a tough guy (not to say Yuna or Tifa or whomever aren't strong, but their highest priority always seems to be their man, so I looking forward to a change). And then we get Serah, who is exactly the opposite of every thing I was looking forward too, and (from what I've seen in trailers and in the novellas) exactly the kinda of character I don't usually like. gonk That was way longer than I had thought it would be. xD From what I've seen Hope and Lightning seem to have a sibling-like relationship. Maybe if Hope were a little older (and it's not the age gap itself that bothers me, but the fact that this age gap leads to statutory rape. xD)

You must be talking about X-2. crying I know what you mean when you say Yuna wasn't exactly "tough," but please don't say her main priority in X was her man... and obviously X-2 doesn't count. Lightning and Snow really would have been cool, but now that I like Snow and Serah so much, it would just be really weird. Actually, I normally wouldn't think I'd like a character like Serah myself, but somehow I do. Lightning/Hope... Yeah, the age thing is a little too much, but I don't really see anything in it anyway. I haven't really gotten a good grip on what their relationship is like, but it definitely doesn't seem romantic to me.
