Translucent wings tucked against her side as long tendrils of white hair spiraled and flower behind her; truely a beautiful 'ghost' of the night. Slowing her steady pace to a lope she'd come across a lake, not too large in side but enough to be more than a pond. Dipping her head with her elongated ears perked at attention; she was always looking...always hunting for that next high.
It had been a few nights, and already she could feel her muscles ache, her nerves itching for attention of a preculiar kind. Lapping the cool waters with her tongue, Corosina; the elusive and rare Shadowtiger enjoyed her runs on both two or four legs. It reminded her of the simpler times.
Sighing gently as the cold water tickled her throat, her eyes flickered up over the moon glistening still water of the lake.

 Prowling aimlessly through the forest towards midnight's last minute, the large bulky Elite traveled silently with caution in his every step. Being on this planet was hard for him, so he had resorted to isolation and preying on the helpless animals of the night for sustenance. However, his past few nights have been unsuccessful in catching no more than a few bats or mice. His stomach growled uncontrollably, and his recent gunshot wound didn't appreciate the racket.
After stalking deer, possums, raccoons, and whatever else he stumbled upon, all ending in failure, the massive creature finally found himself near a moon reflected lake. Anguishing for water, he slipped out of the thick foliage and stalked briskly towards the lake, with his long neck craned down and shoulders high. He preferred greatly to walk on all fours, especially with his lower half being able to support his upper.
Reaching the water's edge, he raised his heavy head and glanced around before dipping it back down. Using sweeping motions, he opened his needle lined mandibles and scooped the cold water into his throat, occasionally looking up to see if there was anything edible around. He didn't notice the tiger demon for he was a fair distance away

A disturbance...what could it be?
Corosina's large ears perked, catching the faint at best sounds followed by a spash or two of water. Something was near...and already she could feel her excitement get the better of her that she wasn't the only one prowling the night. With her pupils narrowing into nearly invisible slits her paws effortless began to move to carry her across the small sandy shore in near silence, wings adjusting to rest on her back out of the way.
It did not take long in all honesty to get close enough to the Alien to see and figure out her was just that. A massive beast if she'd ever seen one, and Corosina had believed she'd seen big before. Gathering he was only a head taller than even her (which was so hard to swallow with a planet full of puny creatures) the armor seemed to get to her the most. A warrior perhaps?
Once more the tigress found her tongue running along the lines of her lips, perhaps the night wouldn't be a bust after all? With all the sophisticated technology on the creature she had the feeling that he could speak...but words could only go so far. Slipping out from her stands in the shadow, a strong but clearly peaceful purr rose in her throat...with a hint of something more if one listened hard enough as she had her acid green orbs locked on his frame at all times.

The elite's nose picked up something. A peculiar smell, one that he'd had the displeasure of crossing his nose before. He lifted his head and sniffed the brisk night air, immediately finding it's direction it drifted from.
His long neck snaked his heavy head over to his left and his pupils narrowed to see the figure of a very bewildering creature near by. With a night colored body and long flowing hair, the Arbiter questioned of whether this was food or not. He took a whiff of the fresh air and sure enough the scent was from the smaller creature. The scent of female.
He wrinkled his nose in distaste and flattened his ears, forgetting that not all understood the body language of elites. His glare intensified as he clearly demanded an explination

Corosina's eyes danced with a bold mischievousness, for even she could begin to feel the raw power and strength this male possessed as strange as he appeared on the outside. Perhaps it would have been better to forget about the hunt tonight and retire to her abode for the night, or even moved on to another prey. Yet it was something about this exotic form before her that drew her in like a moth to the flame.
She needed to know more.
Making dead sure that her posture was perfected to be as passive, but not weak as she could' she took delicate but precise steps to the water and looked across the still surface before her eyes danced up to meet his own.
"It is rare I find a kindred spirit in these woods. Usually its just prey...." Which was true, even if she considered him a different kind of prey than her usual. He could prove a greater challenge, and her body just tingled in the excitement of it all.
"Do you speak, mighty one?" Dare she not play her usual cards of domineering tones and intentional touches and language. No...she needed to be careful with this one; for while usually her prey had a profile and an act to match it....Arbiter was a wild card to her; and she needed to find out what it was that matched him and fast.

The elite's ears remained flattened, but an inquisitive glare crept onto the beast's face. Prey usually doesn't talk back. Most perplexing he pondered as he raised his head high, but looked down at her. He wasn't about to be taken as a pathetic giant and if it's what she wanted, then he had no qualms of eating and asking later.
He was momentarily struck when the creature used flattery. A bold tactic but an unappreciated one at that. His glare slowly returned as his head lowered to a threatening level. The nerve of even asking if he could speak was appalling, but putting it along side a term that was far more glory than he deserved was outrageous.
"Your inquisition is most distasteful, female. Best to avoid it if you value your life." he snarled. He knew normally he wouldn't be this aggressive, but when his stomach was growling intensively, he figured it was necessary

Mmm...Touchy. Corosina thought unhappily, her mind whirling to make up for these 'demerit' points she'd received from the wrong approach. As much fun as it was to find something new to play with it was often frustrating since her tried and true methods often no longer applied.
"My....apologies." She purred, more so out of habit than anything further this time around. She did not flinch or seem otherwise concerned for her life, probably thanks to the fact it had technically ended once before.
"It is rare that I need to give inclination of any sort of conversation. Most around her are more than willing to speak immediately, and there is no shortage of mutes in these woods. " The shop she'd ventured to once or twice had a few, difficult creatures they were to deal with.
Taking a devised moment to collect her thoughts, she placed her front paws at the water's edge and lean down for a drink; her tongue lapping the cool waters once more, this time a calming peace the last thing on her mind.

Arbiter's eyes glared her down. It wasn't so much as he was angry with the strange being, it was more of a questioning. What does she want? he thought as his ears returned to their relaxed position and his head snaked back to a comfortable height. His stance was normal, but his brain tried to figure the possibilities.
Even the sudden drinking of water was perplexing to him. Why did she suddenly decide to do that? Is this a trick? the elite's mind raced with questions, but finally he saw fit to ask one.
"What is your purpose here, Female? I am not food and apparently nor are you." he was sure she, like him, was on the hunt for food as well. Little did he know it was far different than from what he thought

Perking her ears as she listened carefully, her closed eyes cracked open a sliver while they glittered in a most mischievous manner. Yet as soon as the glimmer had caught the light it was gone, the exotic soft glow returning as those orbs trailed up to Arbiter.
"I am most pleased that you don't see me as livestock..." Or game, yet there were only a few types of games she liked to play of any nature for her to be prey. standing straight on all four paws, the femme gave a little push on her front paws as a few of her bones shifted to allow her to stand on her hind paws; similar to a snake to unhinge his jaw to eat she could snap her bone into a different joint to allow this new position. Especially on her back legs her height was noticeable, masked by her often lithe frame when on her quads.
"I seek similar to what you do....I seek to hunt. Our game may differ, but we are seeking to fill a hunger, to sink our teeth into something..." Tossing her locks over her shoulder as they fell down to the backs of her knees, she tossed the Arbiter a look as she strolled along the beach; curious if he would join her or not since she had no further buisness at the water's edge with her thirst quenched.
"Although do not worry, I am no competitor for your type of game..."

Frowning a bit, the elite glared at the questionable subject as she stood on her 2 hind legs, causing her to have a fair advantage in height. Something the Arbiter did not favor in this conversation.
Tempted to turn and slip back into the forest, he was only stopped by her last comment. What did she mean by that, he wondered. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
"And what 'game' are you playing then?"

Stopping in her own tracks, her head turned to the side to watch her own reflection in the lake; while not vain to the point of obsession she knew she was beautiful, exotic, her body screamed physical perfection. Closing her eyes as she pondered for a moment or two, she wondered if he would understand her...who knew with these alien types.
"My game is so rare, I have yet to actually find what im looking for." Corosina turned back to Arbiter, tilting her head slightly as her eyes seemed to glow under the reflection of the moon. "A hunger i've never been satisfied from, no matter how many times I try." Oh, and she'd been trying.
"One can call it a love game, yet love has nothing to do with what i'm after. I'm hunting for one who can quench this thirst, to stop this fire burning inside me...." Her smirk curled in a wicked mannor, tail flicking behind her. "Well, Untill someone can be man enough to satisfy this vixen...my hunt will be forever more."

Arbiter was no fool. The moment her tongue curled to for those ever subtle words a small grimace appeared on his face. Why was he being bothered by this? Is kind was infamous for having more than one relationship.
"Then you shall hunt forever. I guarantee you not many are foolish enough to play your games, at least not the ones worthy of an audience with you" he spoke somewhat spitefully, glaring her down with yellow eyes. He wasn't trying to be mean. More so truthful, even if it was more painful for her to hear than for him to say

A frown quickly settled on her face as her tail curled irritably into the air, ears flattening against her skull and horns. Who was he to dictate what she already figured! Her own lips curled into a similar style of disgust as the Arbiter wore and crossed her arms across her chest. "What does it matter about worth? I am not after anyone's love and affection, its pretty clear what I am after and if they're too blinded by their petty emotions to realize then I have no sympathy for them."
Worthy of her....hah. Perhaps she'd taken it as a ranking gesture, but her gaze turned up to the heavens as she continued. "Like you wish not to starve without a meal, likewise I will not starve myself waiting. Even complete morons can do a half assed job, and that is better than nothing." Smirks and shakes her head, not knowing why she was staying either....but something kept her feet firmly on the sand. "Wouldn't you kill the rabbit, or would you miss that chance and wait for the big game to appear; if it does at all?"

A grimace appeared on his face. It was apparent to him that she didn't want to hear his advice, nor did she truly cared about what he had to say. So why was he still there?
He began to turn away from her and head into the forest, when she asked what to most people would be a tough question. "You cannot compare food with sex. Food is essential. It you catch a rabbit, you have to eat it. If you catch another, good. Eventually you will get full." he paused for a moment to give a hard glare to the forest.
"However if you wait for that big meal, you'll surely starve. So in the case off food, it's better to take what you can get. And since your analogy is for something other than food, then it applies similarly..even though you won't die from.....'starvation'" he said as he gave one last snort. Now his feet should be moving. Why were they not. Maybe he wanted to here her two cents

Eyeing him down with his back turned to her, her tail once more began to flick. Arbiter was showing all intent to leave...but why did he stay? Perhaps he knew not the agony demons could face, true souls risen from the depths of hell for suffering beyond any means in an endless life? No matter, she wasn't about to give the alien a history lesson, instead she huffed.
"You can compare everything...have you not been around long enough to see the disgusting creatures which walk these lands. Food can be sex...speaking in a literal manor of course." She too, was one of them...although her sins were not as...grotesque.
"I see we've come to an agreement of sorts then....but one last thing....have you not ever, even for a moment....wondered if there is better than what you have? Have you not ever felt that urge....that desire to affirm that what you have is really what you want?" A serious tone dropped on her tone, perhaps a little personal on her part but hey, she was a demon....and was allowed her random switches of moods that came notoriously with her bloodline. "Be it anything...really. For me...it just happens to be intercourse."
