People firmly believe that a Sayance (spelling please) brings demons into their homes. It is both a yes and no thing.
The truth about seances is that they create a rather large amount of energy, which acts as a beacon for most entities in the area. The only way a "demon" will be summoned into one's home is if the spirit is intentionally called upon (which isn't advised, this practice can result in serious harm, even death) The other possible entrance for a demon or other unwanted spirit is if the entity attracted by the energy is strong enough to breach a threshold. Most of your garden-variety lower demons, angry spirits of the departed, etc. cannot pass through a sealed threshold. This being said, it is advised that you remove the spirit from the home or area you wish to seal. otherwise, you'll have a very unhappy spirit bouncing around like a cosmic pinball.
