(corection: one on the left)Bankai Ability: a giant demon made of dark energy forms arround shikimaru. the demon can fire giant arrows made of spirit energy as well as strike out with its arms. the giants body also acts as a sheild that prevents non bankai level attacks from hitting shikimaru. since the demon is anchored to the ground shikimaru cannot move while the bankai is activated
Attack no.1: akki yumi (demon arrow)- giant will fire an arrow headed beam of energy at the opponent causeing great damage
Attack no.2: metsu akki yumi (destructive demon arrow) giant will fire an arrow into the sky causing a massive arrow headed beam to fire down apon the opponent. this is much more powerful and harder to dodge than the normal akki yumi and can only be used three times a day

Biography Before Death: shikimaru was considered a prodigy at using a bow and arrow and was the youngest archery club captain in his high school's history. he often spent most of his time training and all of his other time was usually spent gambling. his fame as an archer and his pileing debts caught the attention of the yakuza and he had taken a loan from them to pay off his debts. he planned to use his winnings from the next tournament to pay them off but an embarrasing defeat left him with nothing. enraged by this the yakuza beat him down and when he began to fight back they threw him into moving traffic killing him
Biography After Death: after realizing he was dead he spent several decades haunting the yakuza as a form of revenge. this stoped satisfying him after a while and when he was finally sent to the soul society he enrolled in the academy. after becoming a full fledged soul reaper he found that he had reatined his archery skill from when he was alive. since he was the only soul reaper to use a bow and arrows he earned the nickname "quincy of the soul society". from here he lived a happy life slaying hallows and making the world safe for humans. one day however after slaying a hollow in the human world he realized that he had saved a group of yakuza memeber. his unresolved hatred came rushing back and it caused him to hallowfy. he managed to regain his senses after slaughtering them but because of his actions he was banned from the soul society. eventually he was taken in amongst the vizards changing his nickname to "the masked quincy" to reflect his new status
