My poor friends never recognize me when they see me because I tend to change out my avatar so often. I've been known, if I get bored, to update several times a week and whenever I buy a new item.
What about all of you? How often do you completely change your avi's look?

I've been on this site since 05 (I think) and have had 6 general avatars through this account. Two were basic starter-ish ones, one was changed and tweeked slightly over time, and 3 were from avi contests that I've held. I guess I change 'em about once a year.

Depends on my mood I have changed it once a day to once a few months.

same here..I can never make up my mind so usally I will see something and well..want to dress up in that..

i have days when i feel like playing dress up with it, but i guess on average it's a weekly or bi-weekly habit. i like changing things up a bit.

I'm always pending to buy a new item. When I finally do, it the item fits, it doesn't change much. Just adds a detail... If it doesn't fit, I make the changes necessary to makke it fit scream

I generally keep mine the same for a while. It just depends on if I like the newest forms of my evolving items enough to change my avi's appearance.
