Abloec walks carefully along with Emiko, carrying the burdan of the berries between them, this was good in some ways and a little more tricky in others. But more berries would make it there unsquashed this way.
Glancing over at Emiko, still able to taste the juice on the cloth of his blanket. Sure that the fringe of his mane was sticking up at all kinds of angles where it had dried with the juice. Seeming happy enough regardless of the juice patches on him, making their way along the path to the heavily pregnant Keii.

Emiko trotted happily with her side of the basket in between her teeth. For some reason her mood had taken a turn for the better -- though it might have been the sugar from the berries. She hummed a light tune under her breath as she tried to keep herself at the same speed at Abloec. Emiko too was a bit messy, since a fair amount of juice had dripped down the blanket and along her neck. That wouldn't take long at all to wash off, however, as she was happy despite it. Vaguely, she wondered how far it was to Keii's teepee.

Keii stood re-arranging and tidying the teepee, a friend had earlier dropped off a few new bails of hay, it had seemed as if Akuba had run off somewhere so she was alone.
'What a rubbish way to be spending a lovely summers day.'
She thought to herself so intensely, almost going a little crazy that no-one was around, she even gave herself a headache,"It's june, it's summer and I can't be running around with the other soquili", she mumbled through gritted teeth dragging in a bail on hay, disassembling it and making beds, in the middle of her teepee she'd created a little bed which quite resembled a bird's nest, just for her baskets.
She had quickly exhausted herself so she snuggled up in the hay,
it had been weeks since she had been able to gather her own food properly,
days seemed to go on forever, and she seemed to feel even more drained.
But she was at piece for now.

Luckily he thought, Abloec had not been gathering berries far from the teepee, untill Emiko showed up he had thought her would be dragging the blanket back to where Keei was, and if her recent mood was anything to go on she was bored. He hoped silently that the foals came soon, seing Keii so sad and her mate having gone off was heartbreaking to him, after all she was such a sweet mare.
The teepee coming into view, Ab tried to indicate that they had arrived where they had been heading. This done ungraciously by a snort and lots of eye movemnts.

Keii herd snorts from outside and wondered who it was and if they were dangerous. She crept up to the entrance and peered out, seeing Abloec and another mare from afar she whinnied as loud as she could so the sound would travel.
Between them they had Abloecs blanket,"what are they doing?"
She talked to her self as if the babies were here, her that's mostly the only company she had had.

Emiko's ears flipped towards the sound as her mind was dragged out of it's reverie about nature. She tilted her head as much as the blanket in her teeth would allow at the pale spot up a few yards, as though it were out of place. This must have been Keii, then. She smiled, and, as best she could through the fabric, Emiko whinnied back, bouncing slightly onto her back hooves with excitement at meeting another Soquili again. More friends, she though, Emiko will have more friends! The idea made her giggle insanely. She pranced a little as she stepped, eager to run and bombard the poor mare with questions about herself, her pregnancy, her family, just everything. Emiko was bursting with her own healthy curiosity.

Abloec gives a warning snort, her bouncing around was going to send the fruit flying if she wasn't careful. Trying to give her a meaningful look, they would be there soon enough, getting the fruit there intact was what mattered most to him right at this moment. Trying to keep at an even pace with her. Smiling a little though himself, Keii's eyes were going to pop when she saw how much they had brought her, it would last a couple of days for sure. Glad that she wouldn't need to worry for a little while at least.
