Since the whole fiasco originated from my NROTC units PT sessions, I think this topic is appropriate here. In our platoon we usually run long distances on Fridays. To increase confidence and to put freshman out in front and being loud we highly encourage them to sing running cadence. Sure some people may think its feels and looks stupid, but as long as your into it it makes for an enjoyable run and also builds confidence.

Trouble is, no one knows a whole lot of cadences. I've looked at ones online, some are great while others just a bit too questionable for public ears. (case in point, "Napalm Sticks to Kids")

In a bold leap forward... some of the midshipman have made their own cadences. recently we had a Star Wars one ("I was farming moisture on Tatooine!/ While the galaxy was ruled by Palpatine.") But by far the biggest hit has been running to, of all things... the lyrics of Tick Tock by Kesha. They somehow got most of it into a running cadence that keeps the beat and works.

Does anyone have any favorite running cadence they can share? Ideas for new ones for all to belt out during their next moto run?
