Native American Nations, North America
After the NAN's fierce military revolution in which they were the first to use organized mage cadres, the Native American population has finally attained dominance once again over their homeland. Though thousands of establishments and villages encompass their territories, all major cities have been destroyed and burned to the ground, as the NAN denies the corporate city way of life. Deep tribal magic laces the Northwestern forests, and it is said that natives can traverse week-long treks in a matter of hours. Thus, no polluting machines are required to transport people across the land. The NAN's reclaimed territory has truly been restored to it's former natural and magical splendor.
Players who start in NAN territory will be able to travel between 5 major areas very quickly, despite the distance. Tsimshian, Salish Shidhe, Ute Nation, Sioux Nation, and Alquinkian-Manitoo Council territories. Within these territories, there are three major villages, all of which are centers of trade and tribal governments. Cheyenne, which is located in Sioux, Kitimat, which is located in Tsimshian, and Saskatoon, which is located in the Alquinkian-Manitoo Council. Each village posesses a distinct oligarchy of elders and tribal shaman, who guide the villagers in daily life. They are keepers of the wood and protectors of the wild. As the CAS is constantly leading ferocious raids into NAN territory, characters will need to keep a watchful eye for CAS zealots and bigots.

As he opens his eyes, the sounds of hundreds of birds and forest wildlife assail his ears...it is a welcome sound, one that reminds him of the path he used to walk in the forest leading away from Galmor's hut. He used to climb trees and wait for the Elder to become curious enough to come find him. It was a game between the two of them, as well as an exercise in silence and patience. Galmor always found him within the first 10 minutes. But that was when he was 5. He chuckles at the memory, rising from the Dirt cocoon covering his form during the night and allowing it to melt away. He begins to wash himself from a small baisin made by boring down through the forest floor and pushing the water below up to his level by hardening the dirt in the bore and raising it. Thus refreshed, he dons his clothes and armor, sighing comfortably as the symbiotic armor coalesces and tightens comfortably, the outside hardening to a substance plain steel could never match. He dons his weapons as well, and sets out silently, checking his direction now and then by the signs clearly visible to him all around the forest. Natural formations of nature any other would see as simply another path of moss, or another bent tree-limb, or other such regularities. The Sun fragments through the foliage above, and sets his spirits high...

As soon as he is positive that there is no one near his location, he pulls a large flat stone from the earth below his feet, stepping up onto it. With a deep breath and one last check, he manipulates the soil beneath the stone, moving foward at incredible speed.

((Ok, i need to get with some people and put some action in this story.)) He spends the next two days thus, traveling quickly towards the ocean front, and thenceforth, to the famed Atlantis. His spirits rise as the forest thins on the second day. The fresh breeze of the ocean winds beggining to penetrate the mass of trees that bedecked these lands.
That night, he builds a fire, and takes out the last of his Wine and a good deal of his leftover bread and dried meat, and sets down for a, if basic, satisfying celebration meal. He sleeps soundly during the night, without disturbance of neither man nor dream...
