Alliance: Noble

oooooReasoning: Kabul isn't concerned much about politics. He had a bad past with the Legion, however and that is his main reason for helping the Noble Retainers. He is more concerned about "friends" than "sides".

Path: Warrior

Magic Style: Seal Forming Magic

Weapons:
ooooo❀ Kerambit - A small hand-held, curved blade said to be inspired by the claws of big cats.
ooooo❀ (Fighter) Keris/Kris - An asymmetrical dagger. The kris is famous for its distinctive wavy blade, but many have straight blades as well. Both a weapon and spiritual object, kris are often considered to have an essence or presence, with some blades possessing good luck and others possessing bad.
ooooo❀ (Captain) Klewang - A traditional single-edged machete-style sword from Indonesia.
ooooo❀ Besides these three weapons, Kabul is pretty unorthodox when it comes to weapons; he prefers using tools such as a farmer's sickle or a woodcutter's ax rather than actual weapons of war.
ooooo❀Kabul can fight without weapons, but doesn't use a specific style of martial arts; he uses a combination of various different forms and styles that he sees others use.

Personality:

❀Lost Marbles
oooooooKabul is insane on a number of levels, which makes him very unpredictable. He has some schizophrenic-like tendencies, such as hallucinations, and often talks to himself or the "voices" he hears. He also has mania, and the two together often make him difficult to work with.
For example, the rapid speech of mania and his disorganized, unusual, schizophrenic-like thinking make it hard for others to understand what Kabul's trying to say or explain. He usually gives off the impression that he's not all there and acts paranoid towards strangers.

oooooHis insanity comes and goes, depending on whom he's interacting with and what he's feeling. It's more obvious, potent, and uncontrollable when he's angry or surrounded by enemies. It is said to be caused by a vengeful spirit rumored to be sealed behind his eyepatch.

❀A Boy of Extremes
oooooooKabul's personality and emotions often switch from one extreme to the other, with very little middle ground. For the most part, he's very active and crazy, always trying to be involved in the world around him (no matter how much the world doesn't want him to). However, this active engagement is often broken by periods of solitude, silence, and unnerving stillness.

oooLikewise, his ferocity of his insane, possessed fighting is tempered by his love of nature and quiet activities.

❀The Most Important Thing
oooooooNekkyō wants friends. Being on his own at such a young age has made him dependent on his friendships for the support structure that should have come from a loving family. Therefore, the most important thing to Nekkyō is to make, preserve, and protect his friends. However, the number of true friends he has are extremely small and many are too intimidated by his insanity and/or reckless behavior to get close to him.

oooooHis paranoia is both a hinderance and a help in this. He is very cautious about strangers and has a hard time trusting them. However, he is also able to use that paranoia to protect his friends and comrades from attacks very effectively.

❀Observant
oooooooNekkyō's paranoia makes him very aware of the world around him. He absorbs information like a sponge and has a talent for both repeating conversations and painting scenes from occurences. But, being a known lunatic, Nekkyō is more or less ignored by the common people while he observes everything. This ability makes him a spectacular spy, as very few would suspect a psychotic kid would be a valuable source of information. He spots danger quicker than others and can more easily avoid it.

oooooHe also uses his observant skills to make life-like paintings, paying attention to the smallest details.

❀A Diamond in the Rock
oooooooMost of the time, Nekkyō is considered to be just another crazy, an out-of-control boy that needs to be tamed by society. But deep down, to those who have the time and patience to become close to him, he has a heart of gold. To those who treat him like a "rock" instead of a "diamond," however, he usually acts the way they expect him to and then removes himself from them. Because of this, few people have seen his true potential.

oooooNekkyō also finds the "diamond" in others. He sees the best in virtually everyone, even if he never says anything about it. It is hard for him to hold grudges against others as a result.

Hobbies:

❀ Calligraphy
oooooooNekkyō loves drawing symbols on almost everything that he can. The fact that he often makes meaningless doodles on most things hides the fact that he sometimes is drawing seals that he uses for magical use.

❀ Painting
oooooooNekkyō is a very visual person and loves painting just as much as calligraphy. Not only does he make beautiful artwork, he uses his artistic talents to explain things when speaking is too much of a hassle (which it usually is). He's especially fond of painting landscape and scenes from plays.

❀ Watching Theater (especially Kabuki)
oooooooNekkyō is absolutely fascinated by Kabuki theater. He likes theater in general, but Kabuki is definitely his favorite. It is one of few things he will stay quiet and absolutely still for. The ability for others to tell stories by acting and appearing to be someone else appeals to Nekkyō, mostly because of his lack of close friends and family and the most of the ones he had were masters of this skill. He is also quite fond of watching shadow plays (also known as shadow puppetry).

oooooIt is assumed that watching Kabuki theater reminds him of his foster family (see History section).


❀ Stone Jumping
oooooooStone jumping is a traditional game in Indonesia that involves leaping over a stone wall up to 1.5 meters high and was originally used to train warriors. This is one of Kabul's personal training exercises, though it isn't always a stone wall he's jumping over; he'll also jump over fences, hedges, and sometimes people when there's a lack of stone walls.


❀ Batik
oooooooSewing? Not quite. Kabul makes designs on batik clothing. His mania-enhanced creativity helps him make beautiful patterns and designs on clothing that he either keeps for himself or sells to earn some extra cash.


❀ Collecting
oooooooNekkyō collects a wide assortment of things, most of which have shiny or metallic qualities. Not all parts of his collections are worth much; shards of broken glass and fish scales are just as common as coins and swords. One of his largest, non-shiny collections is a collection of rocks; he sometimes seen practicing calligraphy on them.

oooooHe hates when people touch his collections without permission.


❀ Playing Games
oooooooNekkyō loves games, even if just to interact with others. Even if the "game" is technically training, he will happily do whatever he's supposed to until it's over. Winning and losing doesn't seem to bother him much as not knowing how to play a game.

oooooIf he can't find anyone to play a game with him, he'll make a goal (whether training, social, or something else) and transform it into a game by striving to better himself in the task.

❀Masahiro - "broad minded"
oooFoster Father; Deceased
Masahiro was the head of a troupe of Kabuki performers. He welcomed Kabul into his family whole-heartedly. It is said that he and Renjiro sealed the vengeful spirit possessing Kabul behind the eyepatch on his left eye. Unknown to Kabul at the time, he and the other troupe members were active Noble spies. He and the others were killed after being sold out to the Legion by one of their own men.

❀Hanako - "flower child"
oooFoster Mother; Deceased
Hanako was Masahiro's wife. She loved Kabul like her own flesh and blood. She taught him basic manners and skills like cooking alongside her own children.
She died protecting her children when Legion troops came to kill the Noble spies. However, no one knows whether she succeeded or not; her children were never found, dead or alive.

❀Renjiro - "virtuous"
oooPriest; Deceased
A passive priest who acted like a grandfather to Kabul during his time with the Kabuki troupe. It is said that with Masahiro's help, he sealed the vengeful spirit possessing the young boy's body behind his eye. He died during the Legion attack on the troupe. It is thought that his death was the cause to Kabul's "return to madness."

❀Hisoka - "secretive; reserved"
oooPerson of Great Significance; Alive- 44 years old
Hisoka is a complicated character and a flawless actor. He was once with Masahiro's troupe and was very close to Kabul during his time with them. However, the troupe saw him as a traitor in their last hours, when Hisoka sold them out to the Legion armies. He spared Kabul, though whether it was through kindness or a mistake is undetermined.

Kabul due to the close bond they had, Kabul has been searching for Hisoka while helping the Nobles. In his eyes, the Legion "stole" Hisoka from him and Kabul needs to get him back.

He is the only known living member of the troupe besides Kabul himself.

❀Kazuo - "man of peace"
oooPriest; Alive- 67 years old
A gentle priest who found Kabul after the tragedy that befell the Kabuki troupe. He is one of the only people who can (more or less) control Nekkyō, no matter what mood he's in. Kazuo had a special house created just for Nekkyō at the shrine the priest tends to. (This is to keep Nekkyō from bothering people and vice versa, and also so Kazuo can keep an eye on him.)
Kazuo was the first to know him as Nekkyō instead of his real name. He's currently acting as Nekkyō's guardian.

❀Nakula - "One of a twin"
oooSpirit
Nakula is the name Kabul uses when talking to "the voice" in his head. It is assumed that it is actually the demonic soul that possessed Kabul early in his life.

Okay! I would like most to talk about Kabul's personality in this crit.

I have to say that while the idea of insanity and mania is definitely interesting, it makes me worry about practically role playing with social interactions and such. I mean, obviously, LoL is not a world of practicality, but you probably would also want your character to be able to communicate semi-normally.

Beyond that, it might not be a good idea to have so much layered insanity. Mania, schizophrenia, and a vengeful spirit under his eyepatch seems to be a bit excessive. Also, your "lost marbles" section and your "a boy of extremes" section appear to be describing the exact same aspect of his personality.

For "the most important thing," would you classify that as loyalty as opposed to a desire for friendship? It had probably ought to be a trait. :3 And for "a diamond in the rock," what is it that makes his heart so golden? As opposed to saying that he is truly good, I recommend the choice of a trait that embodies goodness.
