Larkpaw was crouched up, in a tree above the river that marked RiverClan's border with ThunderClan. Her plan was to pretend to be drowning, just as a RiverClan Patrol stalked by. She would jump from the branch that she was on and hit the water. Her scent was disguised, just as Lotuspaw's was. She smelt of catmint, which could be found near any Two-leg place. She would be posing as a lost kittypet. Now though, all she could do was wait for a Patrol. She shifted on the branch, nervous and tense.

Silverpaw shook her pelt. She was supposed to be on patrol, but it just didn't seem interesting at the time. She'd rather wander around and maybe hunt a little. Not that she would do very good anyway. She stopped at the river to get a drink. The water was refreshing on her tongue, but the air smelled of catmint. She wrinkled her nose and searched for the location of the mouth-watering smell. She was no where near any of the herb supplies, nor twoleg nests. It puzzled her.

When Larkpaw saw a silver apprentice below, she made a show of 'accidentally' falling from the tree. After all, cats had no trouble at all climbing up, but many had trouble getting back down. She let out a horrible, loud yowl that was full of fear. Once she hit the water, her body went limp, as if she were unconcious. She allowed herself to sink a bit before pretending to wake up and fight the water for her life, yowling and growling, and groaning all the while.

Silverpaw jumped back in shock as an unknown cat hit the water. She soon realized that it was a young cat like her. She leaped, without thinking, into the river after her. Grabbing her by the scruff she hauled her to the bank. Her struggling made it difficult, but she managed to get her up onto land. She nudged her farther away from the river.

Larkpaw completed the show by crouching away from the other cat, shivering and coughing up water. When she caught her breath, she glanced up at the silver she-cat with wide, almost fearful eyes. "Wh...who are you?" She asked, still shaking.

"My name's Silverpaw!" she spoke cheerily, "Who ARE you?"

Larkpaw's eyes widened. She hadn't thought of that! She looked around hastily, looking for anything that might bode well for a kittypet name. "I was called Berry." She blurted out suddenly, catching a glimpse of a deathberry bush. She looked back at Silverpaw. "Silverpaw....that's an odd name, isn't it?"

"Werid name?! You're the one with the strange name! You must be a kittypet! What are you doing here? Nevermind! We should still be friends!" Silverpaw purred in delight. She should take her back to camp. It would be so fun to have a new cat in camp!
((Sorry, Silverpaw is a spazfish lol. Get it? RiverClan = fish? xp ))

((Yes....yes, she is...))
Larkpaw tilted her head. Did she have to make infiltrating their Camp this easy? "A....kittypet? What is that?" She stood up and shook her pelt out, stretching as she did so. She had been crouched up in that tree for forever! Once she was satisfied with her stretching, she began to groom herself, trying to get dry and warm.

((It's really hard to get me to laugh at any joke, Kitten. Don't feel bad. Lol.))
Larkpaw sighed. Why her? "Two-leg?" She asked, pawing the ground in an uncertain manner. "You mean....No-furs?" She asked, seeming to understand. With that, she stood and nodded, ready to get this all over with. "Right, those! My no-fur cast me out after I accidentally clawed something that I, apparently, wasn't supposed to." She shrugged her small, furry shoulders.

((Why, are you alright? Is there anything I can do?))
"Uhhh...yea....no-furs....Well, let's get to camp!" She lead the she-cat kittypet to camp.
Featherstar sat watching over her camp. She wondered where he daughter had gotten off to when she walked in with a strange cat. Featherstar yowled to announce the prescence. "Who is this you have brought to my camp?"

Larkpaw stared at Featherstar. Never before had she ever seen another Clan Leader. She was almost in awe...until Featherstar addressed the camp as 'My'. That set her off. It wasn't Featherstar's camp! It was RiverClan's! An ear flicked and her whiskers twitched in annoyane. She barely remembered that she was pretending to be a frightened kittypet. With an inward sigh, Larkpaw crouched and cowered behind Silverpaw. "I..I..I'm La...Berry." She froze, wondering if any cat had caught her slip-up.
((No, no. Nothing is wrong, Kitten. I just don't laught at jokes all that often.))

((Oh, ok. *whew* you had me worried!))
Featherstar flicked her ear. "A kittypet?"
"She lives with what she calls 'no-furs'." Silverpaw piped up.
Featherstar looked at her daughter. "Where did you find her?"
"Drowning in the river." Silverpaw said, "She should stay in RiverClan!"
