I thought this week we would all describe how we cast circle. Which chant or calling to you like to use to call in the elements and directions. What do you like to use to purify your altars and each other with? What deity's do you like to call to? Do you ever have offerings at your circles and what do you like to offer? Do you follow the lunar cycles? What kind of tools do you like to use (salt, athame, goblet, candles, etc.)

Casting my circle all depends on who I am with and our mood... There is a quick way and then there is the long hail to the garudians of the watchtower way is also nice... but alot of the time I sing the directions in... its pretty razz ... As for purifying Sage works best or water. The Deitys depends on the work I am doing in circle and I like to use a lot of tools in circle including an athame for the directions, candles for atmosphere and the directions and a lot more.

I really enjoy candles, I LOVE candles. My circles also depend on my mood and who I'm with. I like to call on Brigit for protection or occasionally Micheal for direction

One bonfire, and some raw metal. That's all Hephaestus wants from me. As for chants, i simply use the power of the mind. I also call upon Athena and she wishes only for my thoughts to eb revealed in entirety. And a good game of chess.

You like to cast with the Greek gods then? I'm sort of into the Irish/Norse gods myself.

Do you automatically know what your God or Goddess wants? But, me I am more familiar with Greek Gods and Goddesses but their are other Goddesses from different cultures I just learned i might like some of them.

Some people like to offer things to the gods. Some give thanks, some use bread and water and ask may you never thirst and may you never hunger. I've never had a big bonfire with metal for a god before but I have cast near the beach for beachy gods make it easier for them to come if they so wish it.
