 What would you do, if there was no other way to give your country peace, than giving all you have, even your life?
The young princess of the south is determined to give her country peace.
There is one problem, the kings and the people of the countries don’t think alike.
Desperately she makes up a unbelievable plan: She offers herself to the prince of the north and promises to marry him.
He says yes to her plan and even gives her his word, not to tell anybody. On the outside they have to appear like a loving couple, but in fact they can’t stand each other.
The princess is like a wild flower and the prince more like an egoistic and brutal soldier.
Will these two get along somehow?

Characters:Alec Drone of Malachena by Lilliana_kiAge: 25 Height: 188 cm / 6’2 feet Biography: Alec is very skilled in the war. He can also do magic and summon a dragon spirit. He is a great fighter and usually doesn’t care whom he is killing. But when a young lady, offers him peace, he thinks of it as a chance to change his way of life. And somehow he doesn’t want to see this princess cry again. But that’s only, because he can’t see women crying. Or so he thought… Appearance:  Elena Princess of Garnish By" Alede Age: 21 Height: 5'7 Biography: Elena is the princess of Alec's neighboring kingdom. Their families have been fighting for a long time, and now all she wants is peace. So she proposes a plan..a plan to marry him to stop the fighting. Alec looked at Elena. “You really want this, right?” He couldn’t really believe, what she had offered. “If we marry, our countries will keep the peace. But if they find out the truth, they will fight a even greater war.” He went from one side to the other and looked at her. She had really nice features. “We only have to get engaged for now. This should work out as well. But you will have to pretend, that you like me.” He went closer to her. “Did you ever have another man?” He knew, that she was younger than him, but woman these days were often more experienced than in the old times.

Elena listened silently to Alec as he spoke and walked around the room. She looked up into his face as he approached her, standing really close. "It is what I want. Our countries need peace and they will not find out the truth. And I can pretend very well indeed." Her eyes widened and her face flushed when he asked the next question. "I dont' see how it is any of your business..but no I have not."

Alec nodded. “Then I’ll make you an offer as well. I’ll pretend to be yours, if you are willing to act as my princess. We’ll have to act as if we are really engaged. We’ll have to go to the meals together and to banquets. People have to think, that we are all lovey dove.” He crossed his arms and gave her a serious look. “Although you aren’t really mine, I don’t want you to cheat on me. It’s much too risky, if somebody would find out. And you’ll have to move in this palace. I hope, that you already considered, that you’ll have to leave your home.” He turned round to the door. “You should go, before somebody sees you.”
But it was too late. One of the high ranked guards entered the room in a hurry. Usually Alec would have been really harsh, if somebody entered without knocking, but the guard seemed to be excited. “My prince the troops of Garnish have conquered us in Gabladesh. We…” He stopped, when he saw Elena. Of course he knew, how the princess of Garnish looked like. “Prince Alec, what…?!” The guard drew a weapon and watched Elena. Alec decided to move between them in a instant. “Put your weapon away, Brutus. She is here with my permission. We couldn’t tell the people earlier, but…” Alec went to back to Elena and picked her up bridal stile. She was a bit thinner and smaller than him. “Me and the princess of Garnish are going to get married.” Alec gave Elena a false smile. He hoped, she would accept her new role soon.

Elena gave Alec a small nod. "You have my word that I will not cheat. I will not endanger what we are doing here As for leaving my home--I knew that would happen." As he had turned towards the door, she had moved to follow him when a guard entered the room. She stayed rooted to her spot, not moving even when he pulled out his weapon. Well so much for getting out of here without anyone seeing her.
Immediately Elena's arms wrapped around Alec's neck as he picked her up. She had not been expecting that and she let out a soft gasp. When he next spoke to the guard and then smiled at her her breath caught briefly in her throat. A smile spread across her face as she looked up at him adoringly. "I suppose we can't keep it a secret now, can we my love?"

The guard put away his sword and went to the door. “I won’t tell anybody, until you talk to your father.” Then he left the room after looking at the two one more time. Alec let out a breath of relief. “Brutus is very loyal to me and to my father. I’ll have to talk to him as soon as possible.” He didn’t really care, how Elena was getting down again, so her landing wasn’t as graceful. If she was very artful in holding her balance, she would only stumble a little. If not… then she would fall on her bottom. One or the other way, Alec wouldn’t lend her a hand. As soon as there was nobody around, he would threat her as if there was nothing between them.
“You’ll have to write a letter to your parents. We’ll make the official statement at tonight’s dinner. I’ll tell my father everything beforehand. You’ll find everything necessary at my desk.” He went to the door as well. “Is there anything else, you need?” He looked back one more time, but his eyes weren’t really meeting hers. It was more as if he was scanning the room once more.

When Alec put her down, nearly dropping her, Elena only stumbled a few steps before gaining her footing. She straightened her stance and glared at him a little as he walked towards the door. "I think I will be fine, thank you very much." She went to desk and looked down at it. "I will write to my parents. You go and speak to your father. When you are ready you may come and get me. I will not be roaming this place until the announcement has been made." She sat down in the chair gracefully.

"I'll be back after handling a few things. Of course you won't be roaming, but just in case..." He closed the door and a key could be heard. He had locked her in his room. Alec didn't really trust women. His mother had died a long time ago and he didn't really remeber her. All he knew were the princesses approaching his father to get power, wealth and other things. She was one of this women as well, who sold herself for her wishes. Although her wish was a bit more intresting, than anything Alec had heard before. Which was the only reason why he had considered this. And now it was too late to step back.

Elena looked up when she heard the lock on the door turn. She sighed and shook her head before picking up the quill and pulling a piece of parchment towards her. "How to start," she sighed to herself. After several moments of thought she finally began the letter. Her father was not going to be very pleased about this, but he would honor the decision. As for her stepmother..well he knew? Her own mother had died when she was five years old---a disease for which there was no cure.
When she had finally finished the letter, Elena folded it up and pushed back the chair. She went to the window and stared out. Her hand reached up slowly and she held the necklace that hung around her neck in her hand. It had been her mothers. "Oh Momma," she spoke softly. "I do not think that he trusts me, and I do not blame him. I was telling the truth when I told him that I did want peace for our countries." She sighed and shook her head. "I hope that I am making you proud. You always told me that you wanted peace for everyone as well..and now hopefully I will be able to make your dreams come true." A tear fell from her eye and she let it stay there upon her cheek.

Alec came back an hour later. He knocked at the door once, although he didn't think, she was doing anything and opened the door. Enough time for her to get dressed again or anything. He had a bathroom next to his room as well. He looked around the room and entered it. If she really had wanted to flee, she could have used the window, but he was in the third floor and only a scilled climber would manage to climb the wall a little.
He had been talking to his father. Of course he hadn't been glad about his sons announcement. They were the enemy after all. But Alec had told him, that they somehow had felt in love and were already meeting each other for a few times. Alec had let his father decide, what this meant. Perhaps he was already expecting the princess baring a new hare. Of course they couldn't keep up with this tory long, but his father wasn't one to brake his word after giving it. There wouldn't be any problems after they got married.

Elena didn't know how long she had been standing there when she heard the door open once again. She turned around and quickly wiped the tear from her eye when she saw Alec standing there. Her head tilted to the side slightly as she regarded him. "So--what did your father so about our..news?" She asked as she stepped away from the window. She hoped that he did not notice the red look in her eyes, a signal of her crying.

Alec saw, that she had been crying, but didn’t show any reaction to this. Crying women were there worst. He didn’t like people who gave in their emotions and pitied themselves. And there was no reason for him to feel guilty at all. It had been her decision to meet him and come up with this ridiculous plan. “My father hasn’t questioned our relationship. We’ll have to announce our engagement to our people soon. I hope you haven’t decided to step back from your word. You would make a fool out of me.” Alec hadn’t really realized, what this decision really meant. He never had have a girlfriend or something similar. Of course he had collected some experiences, but they had only been some kind of toy for him. He had never opened up to anybody. There were mere moments when he showed any sympathy for somebody. Therefore it was only natural, that a lot of people would be suspicious about their engagement.
