We all know that people say things differently. When one person is confused, they might say "I don't get it." When another is confused, they might say "This is crazy." or "This doesn't make any sense," or "I completely fail, what am I doing?"
This is an exercise to help develop characters.
The first person (me) says a statement, like "I'm confused." The person below responds with how each of their charatcers would express confusion. Then, after quoting all of their characters, they make a new statement for the person below them to reply too.
My Example:
Statement: "That's good."
The prince: "That's absolutely wonderful!"
Lung: "That's great."
Aldose: "Wonderful."
Vair: "That's...uhm, nice. Wow."
Icarus: "That's marvelous, my friend. Marvelous."
Mire: "Really? That's pretty good..."
Csais: "Oh, how delightful."
Poense: "Oh WOW. AWESOME."
Pieces: "Isn't that nice?"
Up'Two: "Oh, yes, I find such things to be quite nice."
Now, my statement to everyone
"I'm hungry."
DON'T FORGET TO ADD A STATEMENT AFTER YOU DIALOG YOUR CHARACTERS scream
