Welcome to the experimental Mad Libs game! An associate of ThePersonInFrontOfYou's Amazing (Insert current theme here) Puntacular!

It's around valentines day, and Gaia's doing that event. You know, with the mad lib valentines. I love mad libs, and wanted to keep making more. Unfortunately, I can only send so many valentines before my friends start to get creeped out. SO I created this thread, for infinite, year-round mad libs.

In this thread, I will try to come up with a system of virtual mad libs.

In your post, you will ask the next poster to come up with a series of words, a la mad libs.

In your post, you will include the full Mad Lib, written entirely in white text so that the next poster can't see it.

The next poster will write down his words in his post, then fill in the blanks after he has chosen them.

I'll fill out one of my own as an example.

The original poster posts something like this.

Adjective:
Number:
Verb ending in -ing:
Adjective:
Fictional Character:
Noun:
Occupation:
Verb:
Verb:
Animal:
Verb:
Adverb:
Adjective:

School days are always a bore. They are supposed to be (adjective), but they feel like they go on for (number) years! The other day, I was (verb ending in -ing) a test on the American (adjective) War, and (Fictional Character) wouldn't stop looking at my (noun)! I couldn't ask the (occupation) about it, because I wasn't aloud to (verb) until I was done. So I had to (verb) slowly through the test. The clock seemed to move at a/an (animal)'s pace. I wanted to (verb) asleep, but I couldn't. What a/an (adverb) (adjective) day.

The next post will copy the word list and fill it out, like so.

Adjective: insignificant
Number: 42
Verb ending in -ing: flaunting
Adjective: smelly
Fictional Character: Seto Kaiba
Noun: cheese
Occupation: janitor
Verb: hug
Verb: lurk
Animal: elephant
Verb: destroy
Adverb: morbidly
Adjective: awesome

Then, they will copy and paste the white text mad lib, and fill it out.

School days are always a bore. They are supposed to be insignificant, but they feel like they go on for 42 years! The other day, I was flaunting a test on the American smelly War, and Seto Kaiba wouldn't stop looking at my cheese! I couldn't ask the janitor about it, because I wasn't allowed to hug until I was done. So I had to lurk slowly through the test. The clock seemed to move at an elephant's pace. I wanted to destroy asleep, but I couldn't. What a morbidly awesome day.

The next poster will then post a list of words and mad lib of their own.

Guidelines:

cheese_whine Keep it classy. Keep it PG.

cheese_whine Your custom Mad Lib can be about anything, but keep in mind that the words the next poster chooses should be what makes them amusing. I would advise you keep your mad lib on the mundane side, to amplify the hilarity when the next poster chooses unfitting words.

cheese_whine I can't stop you from cheating, but please don't look at the mad libs before you choose the words. That defeats the purpose. If your word choice isn't the most funny result ever, tough. It still works.

cheese_whine I trust that all of you know what nouns, verbs, adjectives and such are. But if you ever run into a term you don't recognize, look it up on google or something. Asking about it in the thread will throw the game off course.

cheese_whine I'd recommend reserving a post if you want to fill one out. These mad libs can take a while to make, and you don't want someone taking your place before you are done.

In order to do (smelly) in school, some outside research may be necessary. What better place to (dance) research than your local library? Even if you don't need to (tackle) for school, nothing passes the time like a/an (low) book.

Some libraries classify their books using the (hancock) Decimal System. But if you don't know it, you can find books based on sections and genres.
