News! (or at least news to me) Victor Ireland did NOT disappear into the ether!! He started a new company, Gaijinworks!

Since it's just a placeholder for now, here's some actual info on the Wikipedia page.

Evidently, he's been working quietly since Mid 2006 (less than 6 months after WD closed its doors). I found this out while rooting around at IGN over Wii stuff, and seeing the new Blaster Master game that Mr. Ireland is putting out on the Wii.

Here's to the return of a great gaming advocate. We've missed you Victor. Now, please get back to work.

Now, as for what this means for the Lunar Series, I can only guess that if Victor has any hopes of working on the series in the future, he will have to deal with the new publisher, XSEED Games, who is handling the new remake, Lunar: Silver Star Harmony (ye gods, it's pretty).

Now, if y'all will excuse me, I need to dig around on LunarNet and see what other updates I may have missed (while leaving the SSH flash site open in a tab so's I can listen to some music... wink HAH! Lunar may live yet!!!).
