Getting StartedOfficial Barton Town OOC ThreadSo you've browsed over the guild, found it mildly interesting for what it is, and decided to join. Now what do you do? For starters, you go on and make yourself a nice lil' introduction. Go on, we won't bite. Well, I won't at least. As for some of these crazy homunculi, I don't know.
And if you're completely new to the world of Buso Renkin, I suggest takin' a quick peek over here. That thread pretty much explains everything that was and is. This world is established on the same concept, so it's nice to know where that concept comes from.
After a quick skim through that, you should go on and make your profile. How's that work? Well, you check this thread. Make your profile based on the layout provided, then post it in that same thread. Then a mod will come by and review it. If somethin's outta whack, the mod'll tell you what's wrong with it and how to fix it. Once you get the thumbs up, you proceed to making your own thread in the profile section, and then register your kakugane.
After that's said an' done, you should be ready to role play.

Starting
Pick a spot to start your adventure. There are plenty of subforums to choose from. Don't know what they're about? Well, you’ve already been introduced to the Intro and Profile section. As for the others: ((Note: * means the sub forum is an out of character forum.))
The Ginsei Academy Dormitory
For the students attending the high school of Ginsei Academy, this is where you will be sleeping.
The Ginsei Private Academy
If your character is between the ages of 14 and 18, he or she should probably be in school. This sub forum is for role playing in the high school environment.
The Hadokun University Dormitory
High schoolers aren’t the only ones with dorms.
The Hadokun University
Those attending Hadokun university are usually beyond the high school level. If your character is a college student still trying to pursue learning, this is the place to be.
St. Germaine Hospital
We’re not perfect. Unless you’re a homunculus, your body can be tattered, battered, and bruised quite easily. When things like that happens, you’re typically brought here.
Downtown Ginsei
Explore the city and all it’s wonders.
Alchemist Headquarters
And this is the home base of Japan’s own Alchemist Army.
Alchemist Sky Base
The sky base of the army.
L.X.E. Hideout
This is the home base of those nasty offsprings of alchemy known to the world as the homunculi.

One such homunculi was so bad that he branched out from his brethren and created his own base underwater.

Behind Ginsei City is a forest filled with a lot of stuff. The shadows are known for hiding quite a bit of mystery.

Hey, I'm CBK, though I have a habit of naming my characters 'Ryo, so that's also acceptable. I'll answer to either~ c:
I was thinking on holding off on introducing myself, but decided to get it out of the way.
I've been around here for a while, like two years I think? This place is olddddddd, haha~
My main character is a homunculus who's taken over the baddest homunculi's base since the two were often together, so it made the most sense.
I don't think he's coming back, which makes me sad because Metal Head is a great friend of mine. D:
But Dre's real awesome too, and then there's Mister Goody-Goody just above me and he's okay~
Unlike Neo, I don't do too much. My artistic skills leave much to be desired, so I tend to read a lot instead.
Please be nice, I sometimes have a bit of a temper~ <3
I'm also very talkative, and believe myself to be the friendly one of the crew. xD
Anyway, I spend most of my time in my own guild, which you can find the link to at the top of the Affiliates List on the front page~

Yo, I am Arimwen Fireax of Myrk.
I have currently killed off my first roleplay charrie Arimwen. Yes, sad day, but it was his time.
I am an artist in my own right, but I am a business major in college. Sweet, press buttons and make money sounds good to me.
I am currently an idea man doing what "Da big boss" as 40k orcs would say tells me what to do. Just to on being the leader of the homunculi.
I am currently going through fixing my screwed up real world life. Which no one wants to here about, because it makes an emo sound happy, but I still do talk about it when it gets to much.
Single and plan on staying that way for the rest of my life. Does, not mean my charries will stay single though. That is about it for me. CBK is pretty cool too.

Hey, I'm Akira. I'm pretty much a loner, and I don't mind it too much. I'm single also, and kind of hating it. Oh well. I draw, though I'm sure any skills I did have are gone since its been a couple months. I've been roleplaying for like..7 years. Or maybe 8 or 9. Lost count. x.x But that doesn't mean I've given up my social life, if you could call it that. I'm usually pretty happy and junk, but I have a short temper, and a really confusing/bad attitude when stupid crap happens. I'm in my last 3 months of high school, and trying hard to get 2 girls off my back. Its kinda anime-esque with them since im only moderate looking. I'm not an emo! Just a lot of bad crap happens.
But good things happen too! Like I got this girl I actually do like to notice me. Yeah, kick a**. biggrin But I'm like intensely shy and alotta cliche things happen that she says she finds "cute" and I...o.O...woah, life story that wasn't asked for. Sorry.

Why am I re-introducing myself? Was there actually anything that Neo wanted me to say really? Ach vell, my charrie's name is Ageha. My life is flat and grey and drab and banal and I can never keep track of things I'm supposed to do. Yes, I have a commission that I was supposed to have finished in november that I still haven't started on. Hmm...this is dragging on, so let's leave it at that......

Hey everyone! I'm ssk-Hotaru-ssk, but majorly thinking about a username change soon! But for now you guys can call me Taru. I feel kinda bad cause i posted basically once and then disapered, and to be completely honest I really don't have an excuse. Any who, I think i will definitely start hanging around again and really participate.

Hey, I'm SU Blue, but for some reason everyone calls me Blue...
I'm extremely random according to other people. Even though I think I'm pretty serious.
I get offended easily, so I think I've made a couple enemies in the guild already. stare
I try to stay consistent in the guild, but I am prone to having alot of homework sometimes, so no promises.
Well anyway, my character is the alchemist traitor Justin. Who is now a homunculus, so he's pretty unstable, but stays cool around others. Even though on the inside, he's like "Kill, Kill."
(I won't lie. I'm also prone to helping people, so when I was asked to kill off someone else's character, I had to say yes...But I am scarred on the inside now crying ...)

Hello dear friend, my name is Fred.
The words you see...are in my head.
Actually, I'm Rukario. Call me Rue...or Fred, it rhymes, and it's what they said on the show I stole that bit from. Or call me Danny, short for "Gambino", which is my alt. account...not a member. I'm something of the Guild Cripple, and usually having technical issues (read: "my computer sucks toast"), my ability to access the guild...to be kind, lets say it "varies". I'll play either side, and as I have no emotional attachment to my characters I'll kill them off when the mood hits, or it seems to fit the situation. Pay attention when you see me in RP, I usually use colors and name-dropping to show what character I'm playing! I'm also one of the more likely people to be running NPCs. It's not my official job (Do I even have one?), but I'm well suited to it.

Ohayo! Boku wa Motomiya Kaji desu!...I'm sure I'll STILL get it wrong no matter how I say or try it.
I'm a heavy Buso Renkin fan, idolizing it as Watsuki Nobuhiro-sama's better works. It was because of Buso Renkin that I started to take fanfiction once again with my newfound literary skills. If you're interested in reading my Buso Renkin fanfic, click here!
I am also a singer (unfortunately, I cannot sing Makka na Chikai, the OP of Buso Renkin). I often post my work up on YouTube, but there's gonna be a change in accounts. My main account will be user for things such as AMVs and such while my other account, my singing alias known as KamiYa, will host all my covers after I redo them.
