Its just all evil and splintery.
Everyone thinks that trees are all nice and innocent.
but no no no.

(I saw my grandma get a massive splinter underneath her nail when I was seven. I've never fully recovered.)

How could a fireplace heat an entire house?!

Well a fireplace wouldn't really be able to do that. But we use a wood stove.

And a wood stove contains the heat inside of it and releases it more efficiently. It can easily and affordable heat a 1,800 square foot house like ours.

We spend about $400 a year on heat. Which people only using gas spen at least $1,000.

I live in a big farm house just outside of a city though. I get country living and city life rolled into one. biggrin

Yeah splinters suck.. Best wear gloves when gathering the wood for the night.

The nice thing is. If the power goes out we still have heat in our house. And are supplied with enough wood for the whole winter. So its much safer then gas in that sense. :3

Like this morning, went and grabbed the paper from the lawn...and there was a damn medium sized spider in it!
