(We all know how people like to read House Threads and make excuses on how and where they got that information even if the House is magically protected by scrying and such.)
Usually people who are summoned here are usually Matrons or someone part of a very particular scheme.
Instead of being lead to the Guest House, this individual(s) are led up the left fork and into the mechanical labyrinth posed as the main House.
However, when a meeting as this is expected, the gears, portals, and other magical securities are usually turned off. The only thing activated are anti-scrying spells, guards posted at every corner and heavily armed, and one gate portal. Which when walked through, enters the visitor(s) into a lightless cavern with a long table in the center.
