i want to make a list of all (well most) of the books films and TV series that involve vampires. if you could give a brief description of it and what media it is. if you don't know, a name will do. thanks
i'll start with one of my least favorites: vampire diaries. im sure if you haven't read it then you've probably heard of the recent TV series. its your typical story; male vampire stephan falls for female human Elana. like normal the vampire male has a past he won't face that the human becomes determined to find out about. semi-evil vampire older brother of Stefan, Daman, gets in the way of the main charactors love and just when you getting set to really hate him you find out that he's not the worst thing out there and they must all work together to prevent this greater evil while fighting amongst themselves.
i don't hate it as much a that description make it sound and if i marked it out of ten id give it 5/10 for a good try.

Oh, can I list more then one?
Bram stokers Dracula.
The only movie about Dracula that is almost exact as the book. It's a little more pervy then the book, but it's a good movie. The movie begins whit the story of Count Vlad Draculia, how he goes to war and then his beloved wife kills herself for she believes Vlad died at war. When he came back, he got so mad at God for doing this, so he drinks blood, and becomes a vampire. Years later, he travels to London, and finds Mina, the reincarnation of his late wife. The movie is a lot more romantic then the book, but it is really a great movie, and you can't help but feel sorry for Dracula at some points.
30 days of nights.
Okay, I'm not a big fan of this movie, and I hate the vampires in them, but the plot and story is kinda good so I'll tell you about it.
The movie is filmed in Antarctic (I think?) and once every year the sun doesn't show itself for over 30 days, and during these 30 days, creature come out and kill people for their bloods sake. These vampires are walking like zombies, eat like werewolf, and talk like...I don't know what. So the people must protect themselves from the monsters until the sun comes back. Lots of blood, slaughter and jumpy scenes but if you like it, then go have a look at it.

Alright a TV series
Angel
Buff the vampire slayer.
Blade.
Anime and comics:
Black blood Brothers
A story about a pair of brothers from a ancient blood line on their way to a special zone. A group of vampires called the Kowloon Child (English they prononced it as Koolan) (typical vampires that turns others to vampires by biting them and even other vampires to their blood line.) and a human from the zone called the compromiser, peacemaker of sorts between non Kowloon Child vampires and humans.
So the Older brother was contracted to come to the special zone as a precaution as he is the most experienced killer known as the Silver blade.
And the younger brother is coming along to live a peaceful life in that zone hopefully.When they arrive, nearby they found out that the group that should have been destroyed long ago is still around and trying to enter the special zone.
Hellsing
A very ancient gunslinging vampire with an attitude oath bound to serve the Head Hellsing family member against any threat and obey any orders that is given by that person. Took in a vampire apprentice, actually turn a virgin person to a vampire to save her life.
So both have a lot of action of killing other vampires and ghouls. Seen it before?

@shadowshaker - nope havent heard of them. im going to look them up.
@magic mystery and mayhem - I like the vampire diaries. I feel they are tons better than Twilight.
Twilight
Um, yeah, if you haven't heard of Twilight and it's saga I'm assuming you are an alien. I highly dislike them, not giving a discription.
Vampire Academy
The best new vampire books out there. The main character Rose is a half-vampire who's job is to protect the mortal vampires from immortal evil vampires. Sucky discription but I could go on all day so I won't start.
Strange Angels
This envolves half vampires and an evil vampire. Love Dru's narratives because they are perfect. They sound like a teenager.
House of Night
Another amazing Vampire series. Zoey's narrative is also very realistic, and its safer for younger readers beacause she doesn't curse like Dru
True Blood
Came from a book series under the name of the main character. Very sexual but highly addicting (or so i've heard). Television Show.
I'll think of more.
