A large chain of mountains located in the far northern part of the continent. Because of its location, it is almost always snowing there.

Xellos I'd tell you what I'm thinking but...
Almost as soon as they arrived, Xellos was bombarded by the icy winds and snow. Everything around them was blanketed with white, save for an occasional rock peeking out through the snow. He raised one arm to shield his eyes as he peered through the whipping winds, trying to find some sort of path ahead of them.
....that, is a secret....

Cerras walked through the deep snow, every now and then though, her boots would get stuck, and she'd have to stomp and the snow to get out.
The silver-haired mazoku followed after Xellos. Some of the snow got stuck to her eyelashes, making her eyes freezing cold.
Great, I can barely see ... Cerras thought.
" Where do you think she'd be ... ? " She questioned, she didn't sense anyone around, except for a strange presence.
Though ... it was familiar.
Leviathan went through the snow, there was a smirk on his face. Him and Rayla were trying to find the Juri girl before the monsters did, after all, if she was out of the way, then they could kill off the monsters that'd searched for her. He laughed. This would be fun.

Rayla stood on Leviathan's shoulder and looked at him. "So where are they...?" Rayla meowed.

Xellos I'd tell you what I'm thinking but...
"Probably in a cave or something. She wouldn't be dumb enough to walk around through this." he mumbled, scanning the cliffsides for an opening. He glanced back at Cerras, watching her trudge through the knee high snow. He wasn't having too much trouble, since he'd been trained to deal with these sorts of extreme weather. It was obvious that Cerras wasn't; her coat didn't even have sleeves. He quickly unfastened the clasp on his cloak and draped it over her shoulders once she'd caught up. "Come on, we need to keep moving..." he muttered as he went ahead, dragging his feet a little to create a make-shift path.

"Ah ... right ... " Cerras smiled thankfully when Xellos draped his cloak over her shoulders. She hadn't been in much snow, and when she had, she was much more prepared. She'd forgotten to gather more clothing to keep her warm before coming.
When Xellos said that they needed to keep going, she snapped back into reality, nodding, " Let's go." She muttered softly, following after him in his steps.
"Somewhere in ... " Leviathan looked around, trying his best to sense which direction they were in. "This, area." He finished, and began that direction, they still seemed pretty far away, but they'd catch up, soon enough. No, they'd go further and get to Juri first.

Juri curled up into a tight ball on the cave floor, trying to keep her body heat in. The tiny fire she'd struggled to keep going had finally died away, leaving her cold and in the dark. She took several painful breaths, watching the small white puffs of smoke dance in front of her face. Maybe coming here wasn't the best idea....
A small parcel lay next to her, wrapped in her ribbon. She'd come here to find it, to prove to everyone that she still had purpose. But now...she was going to die anyway. A few tears escaped, freezing instantly, and left icy trails on her cheeks. She couldn't feel the ice, nor the snow from outside that was now rushing in on the wind. To her, it was like a blanket, soft and warm, and she wanted to just envelope herself in it, and never come out. No one would be looking for her. If anyone'd cared, they would've come by now...

Xellos I'd tell you what I'm thinking but...
Xellos pulled himself up over a ledge, nearly burying himself in the snow, before leaning down to pull Cerras up. They were close now, even he could sense Juri now. It was very faint now, but it was something. He scanned the area, almost missing a small opening in the cliffside a short distance from them. It's worth a shot... he headed towards it, grabbing onto Cerras's hand to lead her, since the snowstorm seemed to be worsening.Caustiously, he looked inside, squinting against the darkness.
On the ground in front of them, the remnants of a small fire, and further back, a small huddled form. He left Cerras at the entrance and went further in, kneeling down next to Juri. She was unconscious, and half frozen, but still very much alive. He let out a small sigh and tried to get her up off the ground. Suddenly, he leapt back towards the entrance, narrowly avoiding a blast of magic. He landed near Cerras, and scanned the area in front of him warily.

Cerras could feel the snow beneath her seeping into her boots, slowly gathering into more and more. If it weren't for Xellos helping her out, she'd likely be done for. She was only partly monster after all. Being partly human, she couldn't handle these extreme temperatures as well.
She felt the warmth of Xellos's hand as he led her and she assumed her own was freezing cold. He let go, going inside of a small hole made in the snow. Cerras waited, smiling brightly when Xellos came out with Juri. She was alive --- barely --- but that was good enough! She knew that if they hurried, Juri woiuld be strong enough to stay alive.
That was when she saw Xellos barely dodge magic that headed towards him. "Xellos ... do you think ... ?" There was almost no doubt, it was the demons. She looked around her, but the blizzard blocked most of her view. She felt a presence, but it was only slight -- and ---
She stopped in midthought, panicking as a large explosion went off, heading towards them.
"Look at them ... " Leviathan mocked with a laugh, smirking in amusement as they tried to escape the large explosion created by clashing magical forces him and Rayla had caused."They actually think they could escape us ~ ♫ "
It was near impossible to escape them once they were in your presence, them, being demons were much more superior than the monsters. The demons were practically royalty compared to that ... trash.

Rayla jumped off of Levianthan and got covered in snow. Nobody could see her. Rayla ran over to Xellos and Cerras and bit them both on the leg as hard as she could.

Xellos grabbed Cerras with his free arm, pulling her out of the attack's path. He grumbled in irritation as Rayla attempted to bite him. He could tell it was her, since he could sense Leviathan not too far away. It figured they'd show up now. Damn. Didn't they have anything better to do?! Using her energy to find her, he kicked her away from him and shot several blasts in her general direction. He knew Leviathan would be a challenge, but at the very least he'd kill that pesky cat.
"Keep an eye on Juri." he muttered, handing the unconscious girl over to Cerras. If he was going to fight, he needed to have both hands free.

Rayla was going to bite him agian but then she got cold and felt like she would die if she didn't get warm right away. She needed to get to the closest thing possible. So Rayla jumped onto Xellos and went into his cape and crawled up in a ball.

The attack almost hit her best Xellos pulled her out of the way. Cerras sighed in relief, she was shaking a bit from the low temperature.
"A-Alright ... " She answered, taking Juri from Xellos's arms. When she actually had her friend in her arms, that was when she noticed how cold she was. Was she really going to die? No ... she couldn't.
Hmph. They got away one time, that didn't change anything.
Leviathan made his way out from behind the mountains for one moment, he shot a lightning bolt in direction of the mountain, causing an avalanche, which caused them to be unable to do much.
He quickly teleported to them, a smirk on his features.
It was time to fight. He spun daggers in his hands, smirking. As he did so, he had more ideas in mind of what to do next.
Cerras tripped a bit, her own body heat going down due to all of the snow; but luckily, she escaped the avalanche. She watched as Xellos fought the demons, feeling bad that she couldn't help.

Xellos I'd tell you what I'm thinking but... Xellos easily deflected Leviathan's daggers, using his staff as a weapon. As soon as he found an opening, he shot sparks of green light at Leviathan, and put some distance between him and his opponent. Then he felt a slight change in weight, and yanked Rayla off of his shirt. His cloak, was currently around Cerras, so there was nowhere for her to really hide. He held it at arm's length, so the furball couldn't scratch or bite him. Poor cat... he thought menacingly. It must be cold...I'll fix that... a green sphere began to form in his hand, crackling as the energy concentrated together. ....that, is a secret....

Rayla finally got warm again and sighed in relief. Then she saw Xellos using magic and struggled out of his hands. Rayla jumped onto Xellos's head and then jumped into his cape again.
