To say that Ganon lacks the necessary social skills to carry on with a normal life would be somewhat of an understatement. But doesn't that stereotype fit nearly all Orcs?

To be fair to him, he was expected to fit in with a small Redguard society composed of women wanting freedom from the norm - so naturally he was going to be the odd one out, on top of some women wanting to kick him out of their camp, unwelcome feelings in any situation!

To be fair to them, he was found outside his parents' home one fateful evening, abandoned and alone, and they adopted him into their culture - a man!

So he swears, Ganon's not really that bad of a guy. Just because he accidentally ran you over with his horse those few times, or shot that blast of shock energy at you, doesn't mean he doesn't like you - he just wanted you to notice him! He can't help it if he's socially inept!

He's usually laid back and calm. Mathis enjoys his personal space for the most part, so he can seem fairly distant or reserved at times. And while he isn't a fan of crowds, he does enjoy the company of those he considers as his friends. He also enjoys stealing quite a bit, possibly to the point where he might be considered a kleptomaniac.

As far as his background goes, he had been living off the streets for some time now, doing what he can to get by. He managed just fine, aside from getting into trouble with authorities now and then.
