This may sound weird...but have you named you instrument???
i named my flute is named Precious and my electric bass is named Bob...my bass just looks like a Bob to me....

My new flute will get a name as soon as I feel creative.

My alto saxes (both Yamaha's, the same models) are named Dan (he's broken with an air leak right now crying ) and Luke, and my trumpet is named Dayton. biggrin I named my electric guitar, too, her name is Lyla. XD
