Alright. I got struck by an idea while I was doing my Homework. So, as such, I immediately put down said homework to come share it with all of you. I was thinking, about how a character changes over time in a long-term roleplay. Could this not also be ascribed to something similar as the evolutions from pokemon? Or, more accurately, something akin to Class Changes from Fire Emblem?

So, your mission, if you choose to accept it, tektek me different pictures of you character, and how he has evolved over time. A Minimum of Two tektek's, a Maximum of Five.

OF COURSE: You can also look ahead INTO THE FUTURE. If you wish to, you may put what your character may look like in 10-20 years down the road, after they're more powerful than they are now. Just make sure to Mark where your character is At NOW.

Kaneharo as Drade's apprentice, still training. He had just recieved the Amethyst Glory, and had just began to learn how to use it.( if he isn't hiding from Drade)

Kaneharo after his Coming of Age ceremony, crowned as the Prince of Amethyst Isle, and gaining the Phoenix spirit of Wisdom. Sometime afterward, he discovers the Kannon form.

Kaneharo Now, after joining the Merc league, and having reached beyond Captain status. By this point, using his Kannon forms have caused drastic effects on his body, energy literally coursing itself through every cell of his body, causing a purple hue to his skin.

Kaneharo in the future, has fully mastered his abilities, and has reached the point where he became two beings in alternate realities: (shown) He has become the Keeper of Law, governing over the physical laws of his dimension. (armor shown)Alternately, he has become the King of Amethyst Isle, and has saved his world countless times.

he's reached his full pinnacle, and it's become time where his two worlds have merged, and for him to leave the world, to become part of the Law Deity for another universe, as his predecessors have.

It's okay Strifer. Your character doesn't HAVE to be magical. As a matter of fact, it would be much more interesting if everyone wasn't.

I plan on trying to get a bunch of people to do this, so a little voting can happen.

These are the 5 iterations of Alida I have in my mind, in conjunction with her background/story.

The first iteration/image is of Alida on her homeworld/home plane, where she was one of the few women in a feudal/magical world to become a knight (Order of the Phoenix). Obviously she's still young enough at that point - even as a warrior - to not be as hardened as she'd later become.

Image 2 is of Alida after she was cursed by a mage's spellbook (don't put your nose where it's not supposed to go!), and hurled into another universe: a rather Halo-esque one. After recovering, she became a UNSC Marine (going up and down in rank repeatedly, due to her temper, all the way up to First Sergeant) and - given her strange biology (basically half-elven) - she was finally lured into the Spartan program, and had some of the first manipulations worked on her body and mind.

Image 3 is after she was tossed to her next universe by her curse, a lower plane of some sort with low tech and high magic. It was here she met her bounty-hunter/warrior half-demon/half-dragon fiance, and adopted her new world's mode of dress and life, the woman becoming a bounty hunter and demon/vampire hunter. (Her armor is from one of the creatures she killed on that plane.)

Image 4 is of the merc when tossed to her next universe (after an epic battle with her driven-insane fiance in which she killed him and he nearly killed her), a 32nd century, ultra-tech place reminiscent of 'Battletech.' Taken in by Wolf's Dragoons, the woman found a reason to live by dedicating herself to the organization's professional mercenary's cause, her work now as a mech operator in Black Widow Company. It's here that she found her current suit of ultra-tech armor (left behind by a long dead, very evolved race). She's currently at this stage after having been tossed to Gaia/in service to the GML.

Image 5...is the unknown future for the merc, one of the more likely paths she might tread. Who knows where and when, but after so many times being tossed from one universe to another - in conjunction with the more unknown, esoteric properties of her battle armor, along with her own implacable will and odd genetic alterations - Alida's become something not really human (or even half-elven) anymore. She's more a strange avatar or personalized incarnation of everything that makes her up: fire of one sort or another. Her weapons are almost a part of her quite literally, now, applications of her will, just like her armor is. No bullets or lasers, mechs or blades are really needed at this point; just energy and the application of her fierce will. Perhaps she's become, in her own way, a phoenix of some sort, which would be quite fitting with her background.

Stage 1:This was Joey when he got out of high school and got ready to go and join the Military.at this point and time he was just like any other 18 year old guy,unrelaiable,disrespectful,and ignorant of the real world.


Stage 2:this was Joey 3 weeks into his Army Ranger Training.His mind has been shaped into a weapon and is now ready for the horrors of war.


Stage 3:Joey has been fighting in the middle east for about a year now and he has learned to lovew war,unfortuneatly he got discharged for brutality against his eneimes and came home to join the Gaian mercenary League.


Stage 4:This is 20 years in the future and Joey has become a inhumane killing machine in service to the GML.his experiences have turned him into a being similar to a perfect soldier execpt for the over condifdence he has for himself and his fellow mercs.

Woohoo! Lots of people. I'll set up voting sometime near the end of the weekend, give more time for any others to join.

Stage 1: Mika is 14 years of age, he does not enjoy being with other kids his age, claiming they are 'immature'. He spends most of his time in his room, listening to music, his only other activities are school and violin lessons, he rarely eats, and when he does, he does not eat much, the answer to why is yet to be uncovered... his white hair was stress-induced and he prefers not to talk about it.


Stage 2: Mika is 17 years of age, to add to his pass-times, he signs himself up for a Gwan Dao class, in order to challenge him, they train him with two Gwan Daos, this ends up being very time consuming and it is one of the most interesting things that he feels he has done.


Stage 3: Mika is 24 of age, he has graduated the class, he is currently living in tibet, he is just beginning to get word of the GML. He uses his gwan daos to cut down trees for wood for the village, he also seems to notice that he has never experienced a day without wind. in his later travels of tibet, he discovers a cave, out of curiousity, he enters, once inside, he was surprised to see a young woman in colourful silk gowns lounging in the corner, drinking a cup of tea and staring at him, or rather, his eyes, she makes a deal with him, a trade, she would enhance his all of his senses, in return for the colour of his eyes, puzzled, he agrees, and suddenly feels himself being pulled towards the woman, and for the first time he noticed that some of her robes lacked colour.
before he could do anything else, the colour from his irises had formed into little balls and shot themselves into one of her robes, it exploded with an eerily familiar light blue, and he suddenly woke up back inside his house with a peculiar egg.


Stage 4: Mika is 27, it is present time, he is standing inside the bureau of the GML, he looks around at the military-esque interior, wondering why it had piqued his interests in the first place, nonetheless, he joins, what once was an egg is now a small and timid fox.


Stage 5: Mika is 31, he has worked his way up the ranks of the GML and has gained an undeniable respect for it. he has learned to control the air around him, and his abilities with the Gwan Daos has greatly improved, his fox is now a full grown Heaven-level Kitsune, he wears a crown and a shoulder cape that he received from Syph, a mythical star that watches gaia from above.

It's pretty simple. As Gear's experience and access to better materials increases, so does he change.

At first, Gear is using common household items as weapons and armor, to include a helmet he found lying around the garage, and built the visor himself. He is wearing a normal vest, elbow pads and pants, with a pair of black boots.

Then, Gear loses the helmet, feeling it messed up his hair. He uses a normal backpack which he amplifies the strength of to carry his equipment around with him.

Gear finally develops his rocket-powered shoes, which are able to pass as normal shoes when in civilian form. He changes to a pair of track pants that have special armor woven in.

Finally, Gear develops Back-Pack, his semi-independent cyberpathic-linked robotic assistant, and the antimatter belt so his equipment can be called upon from anywhere.

Gear's now darker complexion is a direct result of his outdoor training in martial arts to improve his abilities. He also now has his special payload antimatter grenades, which have become his signature weapon, and now running the Merc League, bears the eyepiece that allows him to keep contact with the base and other Mercs in the field.

Kinda boring, but his NEXT incarnation will be very interesting. I can't show it to you guys yet, as his next one will be revealed later in the Revres RP.
