Counselor/ Caretaker Username: Ayame Sunshine Chracter Name: Isamu Korino Age: 18 (He is an exception to the age requirement because he is one of the original people that helped establish the sanctuary ) Gender: Male Why you are here: Isamu had a past full of torture and abuse. It took him many years to get over this, and he still is, but he want's to help other innocent people that have been in similar situations as hes was. Special ability: He has extra veins in his body that contain a special liquid, this liquid can secrete form the tips of his fingers and toes, once it hits the air it instantly turns to ice. Bio: He had two brothers when he was younger but one was killed (he doesn't know that the other one is still alive ) At the age of six he was taken off of the streets and thrown into a life of slavery where he moved from master to master. Once some crazy magic hunters got hold of him and tried taking the liquid from his special veins but a warrior named Kitsune saved him. Kitsune then took him in, and that is when Isamu met his 'adoptive' sister, Ayame. When he was about 13 he and Ayame were separated from kitsune and had to live on their own once more. They have been working on building and programming the sanctuary, along with it's manager, for the past three years. He has always had a major crush on Ayame but she refuses him, saying that they are to much like a brother and sister. Personality: He used to be extremely quiet and reserved, but Ayame told him that he needed to open up if he was going to be helping out with the sanctuary. Other: He has severe hydrophobia Picture/ description: He wears two dog tags, one with his name carved on it and the other one was one of his brother's. He also wears a choker. He NEVER takes either of these off.

Counselor/ caretaker Username: Ayame Sunshine Chracter Name: Ayame Age: 21 Gender: female Race: Angel Why you are here: Ayame lived a hard life in her past, having forgot everything before the age of six she has lived without knowing anything about her family or the rest of her past. Like Isamu, she would like to help others who have found themselves in similar situations. Bio: At the age of six she forgot everything about her life, even how she forgot. Kitsune found her and took her in, she was very quiet, barely speaking a word until he found another orphan (Isamu ). Ayame wanted to help Isamu, so she finally began talking and teaching him about everyday life. They have been together ever since. She is determined to find Kitsune once her life settles down some and she would also love to find her family. Isamu has a major crush on her and she knows it, but keeps telling him that they are too much like siblings, and that is how she truely feels. Special ability: Her voice is so melodic and angelic that she can sing people to sleep, even if she is not intending it. Personality: Very loving, outgoing, cheerful, and willing to help others Other: Picture/ description: She has blue eyes.

Why you are here: He's just a genuinely compassionate, helpful person. Is that so hard to believe???!!! Oh, and he also has a taste for the odd and fantastical. Plus he was recommended. . .just read on.
Bio: Led a painfully normal life until the age of thirteen, when his house along with him, his sister, and his parents whom were all inside at the time were sucked into an interdimensional vortex that opened in the space-time continuum in his backyard. Nope, I'm not joking. The whole family was tossed unceremoniously into a parallel dimension that took eight years to navigate out of. In this parallel dimension, Oliver found that he could manipulate probability fields-- in other words, cause bad luck or good luck. Or just make a situation tip in favor of a certain outcome. Once he managed to get out of that crazy-a** world, Oliver realized that he was in a completely new section of the world and that he had kept his power. Using his not-so-newfound abilities to get himself a job as an innkeeper's assitant and his family an apartment in some random nearby town, he excelled at learning how to care for peoples' needs, household management, and gained a rather charismatic persona. One day, the innkeeper, whom had taken a great liking to her quirky young assistant, recommended him for a job at a new establishment that was being developed in the country. Turns out the innkeeper was a witch that had connections with the people running the Sanctuary. Oliver, who liked the idea of something new and with people he could relate to, after talking it over with his family, accepted the offer and went to work at this new haven for the gifted.
Special ability: As mentioned above, he can manipulate probability. Oh, and he also gained an infallible sense of direction from years of trying to get the heck out of that alternate universe.
Personality: He had always been a bit peculiar in his mannerisms, a bit eccentric in his behavior, but the trip to a parallel world didn't change any of that. In fact, it made those oddities much stronger. People dont usually attempt to associate with him, but everyone finds him queerly charming. He's very chivalrous and though he's not romantically experienced at all, women find his gentlemanly behavior, weird habits (which you'll recognize later on), and the way he plays with his hat(s) (read about it below) very endearing. He knows the Sanctuary inside and out, and therefore is familiar with all the shortcuts, so he has a tendency to seemingly pop up out of nowhere. This quirk no one at the Sanctuary has ever fully gotten used to.
Other: Has an obsession with hats. Is never seen in public without one, somehow it's never the same hat twice. Is constantly doing hat tricks, which though he doesn't notice it, add to his charm. heart
Picture/ description: Picture him kind of like this only older, and wearing an awesome hat-- i.e. a top hat, fedora, trilby, beret, pageboy cap, etc. . . .

Bio: Birthed in a temple deep beneath a graveyard, Dorgernruu is a Patchwork golem, built from the parts of the recently deceased by a disturbed cult of Demonic Priests. After spending 6 years becoming civilized enough to walk amongst society, he developed a sense of independance, and destroyed the temple in attempts to escape. Now on the run from temple assassins and clerics, he searches for a true purpose in life, as well as an explanation as to where he gets his strange visions from...
Special Ability: Increased Strength, Relative Immortality (as long as head
is intact), Lack of morality (making him useless in arguements biggrin )
Personality: Very Well Kept, calm and colleceted in any situation. Very Cool-tempered, and is akward in social outlets. Also extremely capable at depicting emotions, making things furthermore akward.
Other: Loves birdwatching, oddly enough.... he finds it soothes the soul and connects him to something he can't quite put his finger on.
Picture/ description: Approximately 6 feet tall, description is fairly obvious; Black hair, skin resembling that of a 'frankenstien-esque' monster.... Usually has a dimwitted grin on his face.

Why you are here: She ran away from home and somehow ended up here.
Bio: Her family was very poor. She had 8 siblings who her parents had to take care of and never seemed to have much time for her. She ended up running away from home (like I said earlier) to relieve her parents of the burden she felt she put on them.
Special Ability: she can manipulate elements (fire, earth, water, air, you know!) and she can talk to spirits
Personality: she's very independent and doesn't like people to hold her down. She's blind (of course!!) but is very strong. She never really gets mad at people but does yell at them when she thinks they're being retards. She can be very sarcastic and sometimes comes off as mean but she doesn't mean to. She doesn't really care how she looks or what people think about her.
Other: she's afraid of geese and stairs. She never eats anything that she can't smell so if she ever has a stuffy nose and can't smell anything she refuses to eat.
Picture/ description: She's really really short and has pale blue, almost white eyes. She has short, black hair that lands right above her shoulders. She dresses in, usually, black shorts that are too big for her so they land right above her knees and just any random top. She never EVER wears shoes.

Why you are here: She's been tracking Lark for weeks now-- he's wanted for numerous crimes that he commited because of his deteriorating soul.
Gender: Female
Bio: If you haven't guessed yet from the last name, she's Oliver's sister. . .so the bio is the same up to where they escape the parallel dimension. Once her family had settled into the home Oliver had procured for them, she decided to finish school and also trained hard to become a lawmage-- which is what this world calls a police officer, because all officers has some sort of magical prowess.
Special Ability: Telekineses (can move objects with her mind, communicate through telepathy, and read minds to a certain extent. She only uses the last power mentioned when absolutely necessary, however, because the Lawmage Department considers it unethical). Eve is also highly proficient in several forms of martial arts (required for her job) and has quite the knack for tracking and unorthodox detective work.
Personality: Despite her close relationship with her brother, Eve lacks alot of the eccentricity that makes Oliver who he is. However, she has a sharp, unfallibly intelligent wit that takes many by surprise. She loves to learn and is always seen with a book when she's not on the job. Cool, collected, and very professional, Eve is a master at staying focused and is as grounded, pragmatic and matter-of-fact as Oliver is easily distracted, optimistic, and nonsensically dreamy in his manner of speaking. She is also hugely determined and driven and loathes laziness.
Other: Her professional title is "Lieutenant"-- one step below captain.
Eve suffers from asthma, making it difficult for her to exert herself physically. This often affects her job, and she despises herself for it. However because of this she worked ten times as hard as any of her collegues, making full and creative use of her powers and intellect, and was the top of her class at the lawmage academy.
Picture/ description:
You'd never guess Oliver and her were related by their looks-- she looks as much like their father as Oliver takes after their mum. Has flaming red hair in a pixiecut and apple-green eyes. She is wiry, light and athletically built, and stands at about 5'5"-- a medium height. Her features are angular and somewhat elfin.

He lived in a small remote village where he knew everyone and cared for them all in time of need. He was the only one with any powers in his village. though he lived a happy life in this village it was soon turned into a nightmare when hunters came looking for him. The hunters killed everyone in his village. In the attempt to try to get away he lost one of his black wings in combat. All he has left to remember his loved ones is the red pendant around his neck. Today if anone threatens the ones he cares about he will do anything to prevent what happend in his past Special ability: Ability to Conjure and control fire to his will, can inhance himself with dark energy, and extreamly skilled with blades. Personality: Kind Hearted, and loving, he will try his best for his friends. Depressed, shy, nervous, protective and sensitive. his emotions run deep within him. Other: Blames himself for being the way he is for the death of his village, and looking for a way to forgive himself, and wanting to accept who he is. May lose himself in his own power.
