The Tokens of the Universe
One for each race
The Chosen must traverse
And find each face
Of the Elements... So this one's about a girl who is sent on a quest to find the Tokens of the Universe. There is a Token for each race of being, and each one represents an element. You can be any living thing you want to be (excluding plants) and pretty much anything goes here. Name: Rani Age: 19 Gender: female Race/Creature: shape-shifter Bio: The girl who was sent on the quest. Personality: leader-like, easy-going, stubborn, has occasional mood swings Side: hero Appearance: Her appearance tends to change alot, but normally she looks kinda like this (but with silver wings and brown hair)...  Other: She has a 'romance' problem, meaning she's never in a committed relationship and she has to be involved with someone almost always. She's also bisexual.

Name: Kahn (forgot his original human name) Gender: Male Race/Creature: werewolf (the kind that has three stages: human, demon, wolf: and can change whenever) Bio: was the subject of scientific testing, he was a normal human until he was kidnapped, he became a 'guinea pig' for the scientists. when they put wolf DNA into him this is what he became and slaughtered them all and escaped. Personality sad each of his forms have separate personalities) Human: misunderstood, quiet, careful. Werewolf: mischevious, fun, clever. Wolf: daring, sly, can be a bit hurtful. Side: hero (though it may not seem that way) Appearance: HUMAN  DEMON  WOLF  Other: is constantly on the run from hunters

Sitting on a branch, Rani wondered where to begin her quest. She already had one token, and that was by shear luck. She held the token up to the sunlight, watching it glint off the golden metal. She smiled to herself, thinking about how much power she held in her hands right now. "Token of Hans... the pyro token." She said to herself. "Hey, Kahn! Where do you suppose we start this quest?" She called down to the werewolf sitting by the tree.
(I hope it's ok that I made it so that they already know each other...)

Kahn looked at the shapeshifter and shrugged. he looked at the ground and a burst of flashbacks rushed into hid mind. he knelt on the ground and held his head as he remembered what he tried so desperately to forget. The faces of the scientists he killed, and what they did to him, the memories always gave him horrible migraines and made him feel like there were millions of tiny shards of glass tipped with vinegar lodged inside of his skin.

"Well you're no help." She muttered. Seeing that her friend was having flashbacks again, she jumped down next to him and rubbed his back in a comforting gesture. "Hey, it's going to be alright. They can't hurt you anymore. Don't think about it." She said soothingly. She sat down beside him and put her arms around him, wishing that she could do something more to help him.

Kahn stood up and said just loud enough for her to hear "I'll never be able to forget about what happened, the flashbacks will haunt me for as long as i live...maybe even beyond that..." his voice full of guilt and regret and with that he shifted into his wolf form and sprinted off into a nearby forest.

Rani sighed and spread her wings, pushing off the ground and flapping hard until she was airborne. She was able to see the black wolf from her vantage point in the sky, and able to keep an eye on him. I wish he'd trust me with what happened... It's torturing him inside. She thought sadly.

Khan, in his wolf form, sat under a tree in the forest and leaned against it. soon after he fell asleep, and unconsciously turned into his human form while sleeping.

Rani gently landed a few feet away from Khan's sleeping form, and then walked over to him. She quietly sat down beside him and began stroking his hair. It the best she could offer in the form of comfort, and since he was asleep, she knew that it was okay to do so.

Khan opened his eyes and felt someone stroking his hair. he jumped up, while turning into his wolf form. "GAH!" he said, surprised. "Rani? why were you petting my head?" he asked, his eyes wide, and his ears back.

Rani had no idea how to respond to Khan's question. How am I supposed to tell him that I was just trying to comfort him? Or that I really like him? Or that I find him attractive? How am I supposed to explain to him how I feel?? She thought helplessly. She stood up and said "It doesn't matter" as she angrily turned around and walked away. Oh, good job. Ignore the problem and it will go away. She thought sarcastically.

Khan tilted his head at her, looked back at the base of the tree and shifted into his werewolf form before catching up to her. "woah, woah, woah, wait a second...do you like me?" he asked her, jumping in front of her and tilting his head. "it seems like you do...petting my head, and stomping away after i woke up to you petting my head...it all connects. you like me, dont try to deny it..." he said.

Rani's cheeks became slightly red. "No I don't. Maybe I just liked the feel of your hair! It's very soft you know. Do you use conditioner?" She started to babble, trying to divert his attention from the topic.

he rolled his eyes as she spoke, obviously trying to change the subjet. "if you just like the feel of my hair, then why are your cheeks turning red? hmmm?" he asked, his eyes gleaming.
