*note: this is a supplementary quest to create a new challenge for your game, the pokemon used are common place and generally easy to obtain for use within the storyline. all training may be done within your game, and any pokemon may be used, but the challenges may not always allow for free use of pokemon, and level ranges may be used. updated every other weekday (if possible) and on weekends.

... Hey! Wake up! Are you alright? The town got ransaked and destroyed by those Aperture thugs, we are the only ones left... But we should move forward and leave before they come back.
WAIT, dont go yet, there are wild pokemon out there, and we need protection.
Hey, I know, there was a traveler who got killed in the raid, but the house he was in is currently unstable, he had a few pokemon on him. They wont do him any good now, so we could try to retrieve them.
I think we can get two pokemon before the building collapses, so one for each. he told me he was traveling with some newly hatched starters, going to give them to a friend of his, Squirtle, Turtwig, and Cintaquil I think.
which do you want? Oh, well we can figure that out later, lets just get them before they are all impossible to retrieve.

Ah, god that was close...
at least we got the pokemon we wanted. Oh, and there were a few spare pokeballs in his bag. I think it would be fair if we split them.

I grabbed the turtwig, what did you get? don't worry if you think mine is a little stronger than yours, you'll just have to catch more pokemon. there are two ways out of this place, and I think we should stick together, so do you want to head north, to the fields, or east, to the forest? the plains have wild pidgy, starly, shinx, abra, poliwag, and budew, and it is close connection to a city, although its controlled by Aperture... we can blend in there pretty well.
the forest has weedle, caterpie, hoothoot, pineco, zubat, wirmple, and is rumored to have a small colony of treeco hidden deep within. It connects with a small unsuspecting town, which has roads that lead to other cities, but the forest is thick and long, it may take a while to get out...
so where do you want to go?

ok, there's a couple of things you'll need to know, as we cross the plains, which will take about a day, the pokemon we will run into are fairly weak, so we should have no problems getting through to the city. And for future reference the city's name is Okotem, and the trainers there all have multiple pokemon. Our best plan would be to catch some extra pokemon so we can defend ourselves if one goes down. So for now, lets split up and find a few pokemon. We can meet back here in an hour.

Great, you're back, find any good pokemon? I sure did, and I want to test them out. We could have a battle right here! Get ready, go!
*note: there is a level restriction of 10 meaning none of your pokemon used for this battle can be above lvl 10, you are also limited to using squirtle, cintaquil, turtwig, pidgy, starly, shinx, abra, poliwag, and budew.
