A tiny run-down shack a short distance from a small town. Lazuli lives here by herself along with her pet dog. She finds the wounded Xellos and tends to him here as well.
Note: because Xellos is here, no one can ressurect him. Also, I want him to stay missing for a while. I'll bring him out of hiding when I chose to.

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Lazulia Saya Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ ´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.• The sun bore donw on the young girl's head, as she weaved her way through the closely knit trees, searching for berries and possible firewood. At her feet, walked a small brown pup; her only companion. She brushed back her thin blonde bangs as she scanned each clearing before continuing, following the sound of the nearby river.
As they neared the rushing brook, the pup suddenly ran to the bank and let out a series of alarmed yelps. Lazuli ran to the bank, trying to find what had upset the dog. Then she noticed something.
A short distance away, caught between some large rocks and tree roots, was what appeared to be a body. Her eyes widened and she ran towards the rocks. Water splashed up to her knees as she waded out towards the body; she quickly realized that it was still alive, and hastened. It appeared to be a man, close to his twenties, with short bright purple hair. He was lying on his stomach in the water, so she couldn't really see his face, and the water around him was dyed a dark red. Without hesitation, she grabbed hold of his arm and tried to pull him free; the dog grabbed his sleeve in its mouth and growled determindely as it tugged.
Finally, he came loose and Lazuli pulled him onto the bank, laying him on his back. The front of his shirt was tattered and the pale yellow fabric was drenched with blood. Oh god... she stared at him for a second longer before pulling him up to his feet and draping an arm over her shoulder, which of course took most of her strength to pull off. Because of the difference in height, his legs dragged on the ground behind them. She stumbled percariously over the roots as she made her way down a stamped out dirt path, finally arriving at her home. The structure was a tiny one room shack, made out of long planks of wood and stones weighed down the edges of the roof. A tiny old well stood to the side of it, vines weaving between the boards.
Lazuli brushed back the cloth door and went over to a large thick mat that served as a bed, and set the man down.
He was very pale, probably from blood loss and hypothermia, and he was shaking a little. She quickly got back to her feet, and whistled for her dog to come in. "Stay." she ordered as the animal sat in front of her. "I'm going to go and get the healer from the village to come and help here. Guard the house til I get back." There really was no point, since nothing would ever bother to attack such a pitiful looking house...

XELLOS ╚══════════════╝ Xellos blinked hard against the bright sunlight that was pouring in from a window across from him. After a few moments, his eyes cleared and he slowly made sense of the details around him. He seemed to be in a small shack of some sort, wiht only a few select pieces of furniture. A small plume of smoke was still rising from the fire pit in the center of the shack's floor. He sat up slowly, wincing slightly and clutching at his stomach.
Pain...weird.
Xellos tried to get to his feet, at the same time, trying to remember how he'd gotten here in the first place. He could recall going with Cerras to find Juri, and that he'd taken a hit from Leviathan, but after that...nothing. At that thought, he grimaced. Zelas was probably plotting his murder by now. He tried to teleport to the mansion, and only ended up slumping against the wall. Why couldn't he do anything?
As he pondered over this, he suddenly heard the soft patter of feet on wood and a dog barking. The cloth door was brushed aside, and a young girl came inside. She was very petite looking, probably close to seven years old, with long golden hair and eyes like sapphires. She spotted him fairly quickly and grinned happily.
"Oh, good! You're awake!" the little girl chimed happily. She was overflowing with energy, and was rocking back and forth slightly on her heels. "I was starting to wonder if you'd ever get better! The healer was starting to worry too!!"Xellos watched the girl warily, not sure what to make of her. She was almost too perky. Before he could even think to respond, the girl started talking again. "So, who are you? How'd ya end up in the river? Were you attacked by monsters? Or was it bandits?"
Xellos let out an exasperated sigh as he was bombarded by endless questions. And all this time, he'd thought Cerras and Sherra could talk a lot. "It's Xellos." he mumbled, the only question he was willing to answer at this point. The girl didn't seem to care and continued to beam happily.
"Teehee. It's nice to meet you Xellos! I'm Lazuli, and this is my dog Koro." Lazuli said happily, motioning to the dog next to her. Xellos mumbled slightly as a response.He could already feel a headache forming, but it didn't seem to be from the child's extreme perkiness. He felt drained, and it actually took some thought to keep his eyes open. Weird.
"So, are you hungry, Xellos?" she asked as she removed a basket from her back and set it down on the floor."I couldn't find too many berries, and I can't go to town for another week, so I caught some fish!"Xellos watched as she pulled the fish out, one after the other, and piled them up near the firepit. Hungry? As if. Monsters didn't need to eat like humans, though he would occasionally from boredom. And yet, as he watched her pile up the fish, he could feel a slight pain forming in his "stomach". It wasn't painful, just really annoying. Lazuli didn't wait for an answer, and immediately began preparing the fish, her dog sitting dutifully by her side. Xellos also watched her for a few moments, before wandering out of the shack.
He'd at least expected to see maybe one or two more houses nearby, but all he saw was trees, shrubs, and more trees. Why would a little girl be living out here by herself? He hadn't seen any other humans so far, it didn't seem like anyone else could live here, considering how small the shack was.

Ella walked past a couple trees and saw a house. Through a window she saw a girl. Ella looked closer and saw it was Lazuli her friend. "Lazuli~!" Ella said opening the door and smiling. "Is this where you live~?" Ella asked happily.

She glanced up and saw a figure at the door. At once her eyes lit up. "Ella!" she got to her feet, dusting her hands off on her dress, and ran over to her friend. "Yep!" she exclaimed, grinning energetically. "So, what are you doing all the way out here, Ella?"

"I just moved here yesterday and i was walking around with my cat Silver~!" Ella said. The cat looks like this.  Ella picked up Silver and smiled.

Lazulia grinned happily, excited that her friend now lived close by. It was so much more convenient, since most of the towns were far away from her tiny house. That was why she rarely went shopping...
"Can you stay for a bit? I was just working on breakfast when you arrived..." she said, motioning to the fish cooking around the fire through the nearby window. Then she glanced over towards the back of the house. "Huh...I wonder where Xellos went off to..." she mumbled quietly, then turned back to Ella. "Go on ahead and make yourself at home. I'll be right back." and then she ran behind the house.

Cerras froze in her steps after the imp, there was a dark-haired girl outside, but that wasn't what surprised her. Through a very small window, she could see a little blond girl ... and a glimpse of ... was that Xellos?
Since she was in complete shock, Cerras's head began to ache, it didn't make sense, why Xellos would still be alive. She'd seen how wounded he was, and when the magic stopped, he suddenly was gone. With his body so torn, with how much pain he had to tolerate ... how ... ?
She could feel tears welling up in her golden-yellow eyes and blinked them back, beginning to shake somewhat. It was impossible? Wasn't it? Completely, utterly impossible. She just stood there, staring, how could this be happening? She hesitantly made her way to the house, she couldn't help but peak in. When she had, tears began to trail down her cheeks. She quickly wiped them away, taking in a slow, steady breath. She really didn't understand. "Xellos ...?" Her steps went slow for a few moments before she ran over to the "mazoku", hugging him. "Xellos! But, I thought you were ... " And then, the tears started up again, but now, she was smiling brightly. She was confused, but, still, Xellos was alive!!

XELLOS ╚══════════════╝ Xellos glanced up as Lazuli appeared behind him, smirking slightly; he could already guess what she was going to say. "I'll be there in a minute..." he said, and then looked back as something rustled in the nearby bushes. He moved back towards the little girl, blocking her body from view with his own, as an imp suddenly ran into view. Lazuli let out a terrified scream, clinging to the back of his shirt. The imp heard her and looked in their direction, gleering evily as it re-positioned the sword in its hand to attack. Xellos's eyes widened: the imp possessed Dulgolfa.
Before he could react, the demon lunged at them, sword held over its head. "Fireball." the spell collided mere seconds before the blade could touch his head, leaving the imp no time to react, let alone defend itself. He watched uninterestedly as the creature fell to the ground in front of them, still surrounded by the flames. He could hear the girl whimpering behind him and sighed. "Calm down, Zuli. It's gone." He grabbed Lazuli's hand and led her away from the corpse back towards the house.
"Xellos?"
Before he could turn around, the girl had already reached him, flinging her arms around him and hugging him tightly. It caught him off guard, and for a moment, all he could do was stare down at the silver haiired girl. "Cerras?" he was evidently just as surprised to see her. What the heck was she doing all the way out here? He noticed her shoulders were shaking slightly, and he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close against him. He didn't really have a reason for doing it, other than it somehow seemed appropriate. There was a slght movement behind him, and he saw that Lazuli had come out, and was now staring at Cerras, a look of confusion on her face.

Cerras stared at him silently for a few moments after the hug she'd given had been returned, she didn't know what to say. She had already explained what was on her mind, and since Xellos didn't say anything, she had nothing to reply to. Not to mention; now that she felt the warmth of him; she knew, it wasn't a dream. It was reality.
She smiled faintly, and continued standing there; her hands wrapped around him. It made her feel more relaxed, more happy. Something was different about him, but she couldn't think of exactly what. She was about to speak again, when she noticed the little blond girl. " Hey, who's that?" She questioned, smiling brightly, still hugging him. "Is she the one who ... saved your life ...?" She knew it had to be her. The girl had a innocent presence; so it was likely that she liked to help people, not to mention, the wounds Xellos received should have made him die, unless he got help. So she was thankful to this girl, if she was his savior.

Lazuli beamed happily next to them, as if the imp attacking had never happened. "That's right!" she exclaimed happily, peering up at Cerras through large sapphire blue eyes. "My name's Lazuli. It's nice to meet you, Cerras!!"

Cerras watched as the girl replied to her, the silver-haired mazoku was completely happy that she had helped; and she was so adorable, but then, she noticed that the Lazuli had said her name.
" Huh? How do you know my name...?" She questioned softly, looking confused, "We've never met ... so... um... " She was completely lost.

"Oh. I heard Xellos call you that when you hugged him." Lazuli explained happily, folding her arms behind her back, and rocking slightly on her heels. Then she noticed that she and Xellos were still hugging each other. "...Are you Xellos's girlfriend?" she asked curiously.
