Ok so...I heard on the news that big familes ex: familes with more then 4 kids, are now going to be frowned upon in society.
So this made me wonder...well 95% of the familes in my parish have more then 4 kids in their family. I mean my family has 11, soon to be 13.
Then I thought about...wait they have all of these TV shows on TLC about familes with more then 4 kids, but yet it it frowned upon?!?
It just doesn't make any sense to me.

Where did you get this from? I've never heard that. What news station was it? Although I can see why, because big families use more resources than small families. Not that having a large family is bad, it's just larger families use up more resources than a small family. It's plain facts. I can't really relate to your indignantion, because my family consists of myself, my mother and my uncle. So, since I come from a small family, I can guess I can better see a larger family being frowned upon...? Or something. Although I do think it's stupid. As long as each member of the family pulls their weight in society if physically/mentally able and doesn't leech off the government, I see no issues.
Plus, it's not as if the news can dictate what society does. Soceities opinions on good and bad develope due to the soicety itself, not due to what a news caster said on Fox or MSNBC.
