Personality: It's not that Jesse intends to be mean...he's just a little blunt. He will say anything that's on his mind and not feel bad afterward, either. If you trust him and are kind to him, he will return the favor with a true sailor's honor. He will not lie, and will often sacrifice himself before he sacrifices others. Even with this, though, he has murdered countless men in the name of his brothers and of the Father. Jesse really isn't a bad guy. He's just kind of hard to get used to, unless you catch him with Evie. She is his world, and unfortunately turns him into a big mush.
Past: Jesse was not born an Exmortis. He was born to a very average mother and father, Jessica and Balthier Goodwin, and raised in a fairly liberal Catholic-Jewish mixed household. At 18 he abandoned suburbia for the wilds, though, and somehow got mixed up with a band of sea-faring rogues. It was there he stayed, getting into various battles and small spots of trouble along the way, not to mention finding a great many women. He fell in love once with a woman named Danica, an Exmortis. She obtained permission from a Sister of the Father to turn Jesse into one of them, and he became an Exmortis on his 35th birthday, from then on stuck at that physical age. Soon after, Danica was lost at sea. He grieved and, in this process, found himself to be a Son of the Father. The Father now calls upon him as one of his highest-ranked Exmortis and occasionally asks Jesse to perform small deeds in his name, but less so now than previously. Not only does he have a family, his twins are to be the first born ExMortis.

Personality: Very happy. Evie is nearly impossible to get down. She adores her family and will do anything for them. Evie is very domestic. She cooks, she cleans, she knits and sews. A very sweet, cute, older personaly type of woman. Her taste in music, however, does not fit that. At all.
Past: Evie was born in Gambino. Her mother was a domestic woman, her father worked for a military organization. He babied his daughter and his wife, and the family was very happy. However, when Evie was around seven, her father was called away to war and never came back. Her mother remarried to a fisherman, and Evie soon had a few half-siblings. She never really got on with her step-family and spent most of her time at her friends house.
In high school, a few of her friends formed a band. Evie joined as well as the guitarist, and they managed to do fairly well for themselves. She fell in love with the lead singer, Tom, and against the advice of her friend Than, married him. Things went well for a while, the group did well, but Evie and Tom couldn't get pregnant. They went to a fertility clinic and found that the problem was Evie. She and Tom fought a lot, and eventually he left her and married her good female friend. Four months after they married, her friend had a beautiful baby.
Evie pushed all that back, found a new job, changed her image, and lives a happy life. Her old guitar sits untouched in the attic. She eventually met a pickpocketing 'Sailor' and his son, whom she dated, and eventually fell in love with. She allowed herself to be sired as an Ex-Mortis, then was married to her man. Thanks to the progression in medicine and fertility drugs, she conceived the child she'd wanted, times two.

Personality: He's very calm and extremely easy-going. Sy lets things roll right off his back and prefers to be non-confrontational, but don't let that fool you. The boy can hold his own. He holds a deep curiosity and wonder about everyone and everything everywhere, and is a rather prolific photographer.
Other: He currently works as a professional freelance photographer for various occasions and for his own artistic expression. He sells prints of some of his work online.
