Just wanted to make a thread to say happy Christmas to everyone here. What plans do you have for Christmas? Are you spending it with your family? What presents have you bought? What presents are you hoping to get? Yes yes I know this isn't strictly related to music but... it's Christmas, have a little festive spirit.. ok so to keep it on topic at least a little bit, what are your favourite and least favourite Christmas songs?

I spent the day with family. I got my mom some Tim Horton's French Vanilla cappichino mix (i didn't spell that right xd ), and I got my dad some gift certificates. I got lots of stuff that I wanted, including a record player, the newest Duran Duran CD (Astronaut for those who don't know), some DVD's, more CD's, and candy! heart
How about everyone else?

Both my parents are quite anti-religious... Then again they're both scientists, mum's a analytical chemist, dad's some computer science dealing with image processing... me... I just can't stand the xmas carols... the same every year! Jazz them up a bit! Seriously! But I did go to an awesome Hip Hop party on Boxing Day! xd

@Contagious, my dad's a scientist too (something to do with pathology) but he's a Christian.. figure that one out... anyways we had a nice family Christmas. I gave my mum two DVDs (Hotel Rwanda and Hero). I got my dad Pink Floyd's first album (I forget the name) and a book about The Clash. And I bought my sister a book about Johnny Depp and a DVD (Battle Royale 2). I got the presents I was hoping for (the new Duran Duran DVD and The Wedding Album, the only one of their albums that was missing from my collection). So it was a good Christmas, and I had a great New Year too, didnt get to sleep until 7am and was up again at 10am and went for a walk around the posh part of town with my friends, the sun was shining so it was nice. Hope everyone else had a good time over the holidays and *raises glass* here's to 2006 3nodding Did anyone make any resolutions?

Sorry if I implied that scientists can't be religious, although you must admit it is a stereotype of sorts. With that said, xmas seems to have lost most of its religious roots, its all about spending time with the family and buying hordes of useless commercial goods xd As for new years resolutions... I don't bother, they never stick for more than 2 months (usually less).
