Yay for crack pairings! I know this pairing would never work, Dan is way too abusive - but still.

Out of all his closer friends she's the only one that survived. Apparently Dan likes to toy with Valerie because "I won't be fooled by you again". Dan hasn't left her crippled like everyone else he's screwed with. I dunno, I think he has a soft spot for her. That, or just shows respect toward Valerie.

But then again I think he was ready to kill her once Danny, Sam and Tucker showed up. Yeah...
