Ok, I have decided to give some pointers.
1. Your best investment - Sealed Letters.
When they first come out they are about 4k each.
Wait it out and closer to the opening date they will be wotrth 6k+
2.Roll with the holidays
Like Christmas.People buy eachother presents then and due to this influx in buying there with be a major price change in donation items
Halloween, Jack stuff goes up so you may what to sell then.
3.Rare Event Items
You can never really tell with these the prices are based on how many is found in the rare events.
4.Sell at the peak not the bottom
Selling at the peak is your best bet,never sell at the bottom.You loose money if you do.When the price is going up, you may want to get off and sell because 2 seconds later it could drop.
5.Exchange Forum
Look for those 0 reply threads.These are the people who are selling for too much or something not particularly wanted.If it is a donation item try to haggle with the person.To make money , I personally buy things for cheaper in the Exchange then goto the MP and sell for more. Keep in mind the rate(The lowest price for that item).
6.Sets
People love sets try to keep a set. Such as all 05 letters because when 06 rolls over their price goes up too.
7.Haggling
Start out low and go up slowly, eventually you and the seller will meet at a lower price.
8.Bidding Wars
Keep in mind when bidding not to go so high because you could end up loosing gold,not making any.
9.Unwanted Threads
If you see a buying unwanted items usually those people are buying for less your best bet would just goto the MP and try there.(I know because I used to do it, not that it is a bad thing just if you want more gold you should try the MP)
10.Everything goes up.
You know everything eventually goes up(besides store items) and if you do not need the gold you should keep that item.If you do leave Gaia , don't leave and give everything away. Keep your account and the items because when you come back you will find the price has increased and now you can sell it for much more without any effort.
I hope this helps You in some way. I use these methods everyday and make gold like crazy.
