I hope that this doesn't get me flamed, seeing as this is an issue that has bothered me for quite some time.

Now, it's not ALL gay men, just some. But, I don't understand why some gay men have to be so self righteous & catty with women. I really do not. I've had the displeasure of having to deal with one in high school, who tore me down everyday with their group of straight girl friends who were just as nasty as they were to me. He & another guy in the group (He was straight) would spread nasty rumors about me, make rude remarks on how poor my 'fashion sense', & have an attitude towards me for no apparent reason. I even remained kind to them like I am with any person that I come across who loathes me for reasons unknown to me. Yet, they still tore me down from my love of anime to the fact that I like fairies.

When I finally did ask them what their problem was with me, they merely laughed in my face & said nothing more. They even got the girls in their little group to harass me in the girls locker room, verbally. When I tried standing up for myself against the guys, the gay one basically pulled the 'I'm right & better than you because I'm gay, you b***h.' card on me.

Since I've started college, I have met other women who have had the same problem with certain gay men. I'm thankful for the fact that it isn't just me.

It may not be a suitable example to some, but the two most infamous ones that I know of are Perez Hilton & Jeffree Star. Two nights ago, I watched Star troll a girl on Twitter merely because she didn't like his music. He was going off on her; Stating that she was a fat, Scene b***h who was jealous that he could pull off a dress better than her & that she was molested by her Father. It was so damn wrong, & even more so because Twitter doesn't handle issues like that.

I just want to know: Why? Why is it alright for some gay men to be completely nasty with women for no reason? Why is it alright for them to sneer at how a woman dresses? I've come across A LOT of women who have had that happen to them.

I can picture that, I just would like to know why. I'm getting really fed up with having to deal with so many of them that are self righteous, on the highest damn steed in the world, & all for what? Seriously, what the hell are you gaining by being like that? Nothing but loathing, that's for damn sure.
