Can someone explain to me just what makes Curling a sport?

Curling requires a lot of strategy, and skill similar to billiards. It's not completely about physical strength and athletic ability like other sports.

Actually it requires a lot of fitness training every day of the year in order to play it. The vigerous activity in sweeping takes its toll. You do it for about an hour worth.

MSNBC has had nothing but Curling on for the past 2 days.....Now im a sports person and Curling just doesnt seem to be an actual sport to me.....BUT.....ITS ADDICTING!!!!!!!! ive been watching curling all day....classes were canceled due to too much rain XD

ive recently gotten addicetd to it. i first heard of it on that simpsons episode recently and looked it up. i think its one of the coolest things ever. it looks so hard to do whee

Lovabledingo MSNBC has had nothing but Curling on for the past 2 days.....Now im a sports person and Curling just doesnt seem to be an actual sport to me.....BUT.....ITS ADDICTING!!!!!!!! ive been watching curling all day....classes were canceled due to too much rain XD Too much rain?! Where do you live?! We get all kinds of rain and snow and all of that stuff, but we almost never have our classes canceled... *jealous look inserted here*

The only bit of curling I've seen in this olympics was when Japan beat the US in the woman's curling. Other than that I haven't really watched it. XD
