almost all the fast foods and hawker center in singapore are halal certified...ALMOST{....if only Carl's Jr. was halal cry }
and teachers' payslips are quite loaded
civilians do not have access to weapons and ammunation
LASTLY!! no NATURAL DISASTERS

yeahhhh... agree with u on the no ammunition and guns thing. Like American schools have to install metal detectors because of school shootings. Glad we don't have such s**t here.

I heart Singapore because:
Face it, we may not be perfect or the best, but we are who we are- a young nation expected to fail but rise against all odds to stand among the top of the World.
People wants to migrate here, are curious of our mixed-heritage and racial harmony(or tolerance), believes in our rigid but famous educational system (which still can be improved), compliments our air/sea port, knows that we are a business magnet and have an unknown sum in national treasury, loves our beautiful and intelligent ladies (despite the exceptions), and us being one of the safest least corrupted place in the world, and many many many more.
Thou our people are seldom proud of that fact...
We are a growing nation, young and imperfect and we must learn that mistakes make us. We can choose to forever wallow in self-pity, lamenting how there is a better place out there, OR we can make our home that better place.
Rome was not built in one day, a year, a decade, or a generation. The Roman Empire was built by centuries of hard-work, belief and faith.
