I agree with you it's not right for people to test on animal to see if things are safe. The animals are alive and have fellings!

I'm all for NO to animal testing. But then what other means do we have to test the newest vaccines and to test our immunity to new viruses? For example, if there was a new spread of mutated H1N1 and its directly related to bird flu or something(I have no idea what those two mean but lets just take it as an example) then we'd have to test vaccines on those animals to be sure. I sure as hell wouldn't want to be the human guinea pig up for tests.. Yes, I agree that animals should not be tested for crappy purposes like a new brand of perfume but for viruses and such threats.. Theres no other option as far as I can see.. Please quote me or pm if you can find another solution. I'm on neutral ground.. Just expressing my opinion, no matter how dumb it may sound.. whee

I agree animal testing is wrong. I am studying to become a psychologist and right now there hasn't been any good alternative yet for us to do testing other than animals. I think we should be grateful for the animals and remember that if it wasn't for them, some of our scientific advances may not have been possible.
