An average, boring American town. 2014.
Would you get fed up with it? These few did.
And together, they formed a secret organization:
The Fakers...
Guess what? That's you.
Using technology or strange, inexplicable abilities, the Fakers successfully terrorize the town, and in turn excite it.
But the opposition arises.
A group of heroes, perhaps just freaks, or ex-Fakers, or just citizens with weapons, forms. They determine to put and end to the madness, so the town can go back to it's sleepy self. Maybe they don't all agree, but they're all fight-ready.
Guess some more? That's you guys as well.
Fight the war for Kent, using all manner of trickery and deceit. Drag citizens in as collateral or go Rambo on them...
