Eight words the Wiccan Rede fufill,

I wanted to share a little poem that I made to help make diaper changing time fun. Here it is.

Lay the child down then say

"Butt Up"

Teach the child to lift his/her butt up
Put the diaper under the butt

"Butt down"

Teach the child to lay their butt down.

"Spread them out"

Teach the child that they need to spread their legs.

"All around"

This is the part when you wrap the diaper around them

"tie ya up"

Wrap the straps around the diapers

"Stand up"

Grab the childs hand and help them up

"big hug"

Well ya you know what to do lol

"Big Kiss"

Again you know what to do hehe

"All Done"

Claps your hands and cheer so the little one things they did something good. This way it becomes a game to them. It made diaper changing time so much easier for me and my son. Hope it helps you all too.

I just love making up little poems like that. Like after reading into the real meaning of rock a bye baby I re did that too

Rock a bye baby
Snug in my arms
Mommy and daddy (or you can use "the lord and the lady")
will watch you till dawn
Close your eyes tightly
and sleep through the night
until you awake to
the suns morning light

Dude rock a bye baby tells of a child falling out of a tree. I mean come on i am too loving of my son to sing him a song of a baby falling from a tree. -sigh-

Just like I will probably redo ring around the rose for when he gets older too, that one is about the black plague in England.

That is adorable and definitely better than the original. I sung it to my daughter once and she yelled at me. Her song now to go to sleep is My Little Sunshine. She also likes my chorus remake of Cherry Pie. It's now:

You're my Sugar Pie
You're so sweet you make mama wanna cry
Smell so good when we go night night
Sweet Sugar Pie

She just laughs like crazy and hugs me. As for the diaper changing, she loves grossing people out so we make it seem like her diapers are horrendous and over exaggerate everything. It's adorable. She knows butt up but she likes to be a butt and she will just lift her legs and grin.
