All most people are going to be able to make that's worth a s**t is a bludgeon of some kind.

Three foot long steel pipe, capped at both ends. Actually already made it. Beyond being a great bludgeon, it's also a decent throwing stick.

Sounds like a grand idea, but for me, being the son of an auto mechanic, the only way I'm getting a pipe worth a s**t around my house is if I go chop shop on one of the cars around here. But hell, we've got a great selection of screwdrivers that can be thrown. Even if they don't connect with the pointy end, they're gonna hurt like hell when the hit.

ill go wit a homemade flamethrower.. xD put a gas tank in a bag... put a hose then on the other eng of the hose wit lever i think.. (ex. garden hose, gasoline station wat do u call dat thing that graaa... dunno xD) put an igniter i think.. the one that makes spark on the lighter... then there u have it.. a silly shitty flamethrower..xD also ill make a body armor out of wood and pillows! casserole helm stainless steel glass gauntlets.. xD shoes wit horseshoe or huge nails in it and ill probably make our car like the one on the land of the dead?? armored?? then for close range combat.. ill make a scythe wit a knife in the end...xD il rip those zombies head off... hehe pretty shiity huh?

What I'm talking about is if you're proposing things made at home, you're talking in your home or the homes of those around you. You know, your immediate vicinity. Whether that's my home, your home, or the home of random filler person A, it doesn't matter. Steel piping isn't all that common. Unless you're Fresnel, and he's just odd.

I would make two types of weapons. I would make saw blades attached to gloves, and a stiletto that fires out inch think needles that are also used as impaler rods. Look up coil gun.
