The white and crimson mare hid in the bushes, her pupil-less eyes focused. A young fawn was taking an adventure away from his mother. Oh what a foolish mother for letting her baby go out and wander. Morana's ears flicked back and forth as she listened to the voices in her head arguing with one another. It is only a baby! I'm hungry... There is grass. Not delicious enough.
Suddenly, there was the sound of a twig snapping and the little fawn, wide-eyed, ran off to it's mother. The small, young mare growled and looked around for whatever made the twig snap, her ears pinned to her head. Her lip was curled up in a snarl, revealing her ivory fangs. Her stomach growled and she took a few steps in the direction she heard the sound of the snap. Maybe whatever made that noise would become her next meal. It was probably a stupid rabbit. That wouldn't be enough to satisfy her hunger.

Trampling through the bushes, the large armored mare looked for a meal. At the moment, she was just checking her options, since she wasn't hunting just yet, she didn't care what noises she made now who else was around to hear it. There were a few possible meals around, but she will keep searching, maybe there would be easier prey.
Slashing her spaded tail, Vera came to a hole in the ground. Lowering her head, she sniffed at it, checking if any animal called it home and if it was inside. Hearing something approach her quickly pulled her attention away from the possible burrow, quickly lifting her head. Her ears pinned back against her head as she glared, watching for whatever it was heading to her.

Morana's pupil-less eyes formed into pure white slits as she stared at the larger female kalona. She took a few steps closer towards the female, wondering if it was her who made the twig snap. Her nostrils flared slightly as she took in the mare's scent. Who was she and why was she making so much noise. Her spaded tail lashed back and forth as she let her eyes wander over the mare's strange appearances.
The little mare noted the armor first. That would pose a threat, easily. Her hooves now dug into the ground, part of her wanting to run and the other part wanting to stay and rip this mare to shreds. She couldn't find it in her heart to do such a thing, though. Her once pinned ears now flicked forward and her stomach growled softly. Maybe some nice grass would do. Wait, what was she thinking about again? Curse this conflicted mind of hers!

Spotting a white and blood drenched kalona mare step out from the trees, she quirked a brow, but then snorted. She slashed her metal covered tail in disinterest and was about to return to looking into the hole for some prey when the other took some steps toward her. Glancing back to the mare, her eyes narrowed as if threatening her to try something.
After some time, Vera just noticed the mare stand there and stare at her. She let out a disappointed huff, kind of wanting a fight, but just let it be as her wings fluttered softly. "Hmph... what do you want?!"

Morana let a hoof paw at the earth's thick surface as her white ears flicked back and forth. Her pupil less eyes glanced around once quickly before focusing once again on the other mare when she spoke. "I want you to keep quiet!" The smaller mare said with a harsh glare at the green and blue mare who seemed to be covered in some sort of armor.
Morana quickly shut her mouth and smiled at the mare before letting out a soft giggle. Her tattered wings spread for a moment then folded neatly at her sides as her tail flicked back and forth as if she were ready to play a game of some sort. She nibbled at her lower lip gently as if she were contemplating something.

Vera snorted and looked a bit taken aback when the other mare told her to be quiet. Growling, she took a step towards the other, flaring out her armored wings threateningly. It was when the bloody mare giggled at her, when the kalona got a complete look of confusion on her face. Eying the other, she then noticed the single horn on her forehead and curled her upper lip in a sneer. "Oh, that explains things... a Half-Lesser. Go away, I have no time for the likes of you!"
