Last but not least, I often get asked about band members, the whole "is it a band, is it solo, etc" (understandably! There have been quite a few). Everyone who has ever been a part of Evanescence is a part of its story, a part of its soul. From day 1 it has been a collaborative effort and different people have contributed over the years. But it is more than just people. It's something that has taken on its own life, it has grown, changed and become more interesting, more soulful, more honest than a perfect image will allow. The passion is what makes it live on, the obsessive focus on straight up, head first, love for the music. That is my band. And against all obstacles I'm sticking to it.

Aside from Questlove being the accomplished drummer for The Roots, The Roots is also the house band for the Jimmy Fallon show.

The band has been prominent in hip-hop since the mid-90s.

Questlove may not be a flashy drummer ala a Travis Barker or Will Hunt, but when it comes to being technically sound, he's one of the best drummers in any genre, no bullsh*t. He's like the Josh Freese of hip-hop drummers.

EMI Music Germany announced their international partnership with the legendary American label Wind-up Records. The partnership will see EMI Music take over the marketing and distribution of artists such as Creed, Evanescence, Seether and Finger Eleven throughout the world outside North America.

One of the first new releases under this arrangement will be the first new studio album from Creed in over 7 years. The album is entitled Full Circle and will be released at the end of October 2009 with the group's original line-up: Scott Stapp (lead vocals), Mark Tremonti (guitars, backing vocals), Scott Phillips (drums, percussion) and Brian Marshall (bass).

This much-awaited event reunites one of the most successful rock bands of the last decade, creators of timeless alternative rock hits such as With Arms Wide Open, My Sacrifice and Higher. For rock aficionados Full Circle will be one of the biggest rock events of the year.
