Ok so my thumb swelled up really bad for no apparent reason and I woke up in pain...so I went to the doctor today and they go "omigosh this is BAD" eek (not helping my fear of doctors and their tools of terror) So she tells me I have an infection (it may be staph) and she pokes it with a needle and drains all the pus out (I shouldn't have looked at it...scarred for life!) And then she gives me a shot of antibiotics in my hip (not helping my fear of needles one bit) and tells me I might need to amputate part of my thumb if it gets worse sad I'm scared guys

Actually I went back to the doctor yesterday and she says its some crazy infection...maybe staph eek

Thanks for your concern ^-^ Don't worry, it's all better now and I got to keep my thumb! blaugh But the medicine gave me a horrible chain reaction and the sulfa medicine gave me a huge miserable rash...so BACK TO THE DOCTORS!! hehe! But now I'm all better
