Here is the listing for the different types of fighters and other ships that are stationed upon the Astral Hawk. Not required to buy, provided by the Army. If you have a fighter, put it in your Private Hangar bay for reference.

Light Fighters Model: Sparrow Class: Light Fighter Length: 10 ft. Weight: 1 ton Arament: Twin medium pulse beam cannons, linked. One internal missle rack equipped with 10 medium range missles. Other Data: This fighters isn't much more than weapons and a cockpit strapped to a large engine. It is one of the fastest of all fighters, and is also highly maneuverable. Though its shielding and armor leave much to be desired.

Medium Fighters Model: Eagle Class: Medium Fighter Length: 25 ft. Weight: 2.5 tons Arament: Two double barreled pulse beam cannons, located on tips of wings. One heavy beam cannon, located near front and mounted on a limited swivel turret. Internal missle rack, holds 20 long range smart missles. Other Data: This fighter is almost as fast as the Sparrow but, it is not as maneuverable as the Sparrow. Its armor and shielding is much better than the Sparrow, allowing for much more damage.

Heavy Fighters Model: Albatross Class: Heavy Fighter Length: 30 ft. Weight: 5 tons Arament: Two double barreled heavy pulse beam cannons, mounted on wings on limited swivel turrets. One heavy beam cannon, mounted near front on limited swivel turret. Two internal missle racks, hold 30 long range missles each. Other Data: This fighter is rather slow, compared to many other ones. Though, it has large engines that allow for bursts of speed when needed. It is also capable a opening a Gate, allowing it to travel to other star systems. Its armor and shielding is the best that money can buy and is able to take a pounding. It is the only fighter equipped with a self contained eject systems, allowing it to limp back to the mother ship instead of float around in space aimlessly. There are also mod kits that allow for 360 degree swivel on the wing mounted guns.

Arament: Beam Assault rifle, semi auto pistol, beam shield, Shoulder mounted missile tubes, Grapple Anchor, and a beam saber.
Max. Speed: 830 MPH
Optimum speed: 230
Other Data: Re-designed Commando for Space Combat The Armor is slightly heavier, as are the weapons. It is equiped with High speed Afterburners, and more then 18 manuvering vernier. The OS now has a space navi and inertial compensators and dimmers have been installed. Beam weapons and shield are used as they have reduced recoil, the grapple is both a weapon and a utility. The missiles are regular short range Micro missiles with magnetic guidance.

Arament: 5 missle racks, 20 missles each. Heavy particle cannon, located inside of mouth.
Max. Speed: Mach 6
Optimum speed: Mach 4
Other Data: Inside the Phoenix, the gravity drive has been removed, replaced with a standard reactor. Placed at stratigic points are thrusters, designed to move the Phoenix through space at high speed. Because of this, another pilot is required to look after the trusters. Most pilots however, have choosen to use an AI pilot instead of a human one.
Due to the fact weight is not much of an issue in space, many of the weapons are heavier and more powerful than the land based version. The space version carries more missles and also carries a heavy particle cannon. The Phoenix ST also has a pressurized cockpit, though some pilots perfer to wear a pressure suit for unexpected problems.
