"Every scar is a lesson...

I was recently introduced into this series by my ex-girlfriend. And I do love the series, enough where my mom took notice and got me the DS one for Christmas.

That is where my problem is: I broke up with my girlfriend before I could finish playing her copy of Kingdom Hearts II. I've beat one and Chain of Memories, and played part of Kingdom Hearts II. I'm wondering if anyone has played Kingdom Hearts: 358 and 1/2 days, and if it is important that I play KHII first. This gorram DS game is staring me in the face, taunting me. xd

Ooh, ouch. Sorry =
I played half of the first one. I don't think I played the second.
(My brother lost his KHI....)
For some reason, I got Chain of Memories. I was a bit confused with
who what who and all. But, it was just another random game to play.
lol If you just play a game, sometimes, old stories don't matter =b

That would be because Chain of Memories comes into play AFTER KHI. It also explains why when I tried to play Chain of Memories everal years ago without playing KHI, I hated it.

I've begun playing it, and it's making sense for now. I think it's more backstory between KHI and KHII.

also, random: I am planning on spending this weekend making a replica of the Kingdom Key xd

I've only played the first one and I still haven't beaten it- I am getting there. gonk All of the Disney characters look so cute. *Huge Disney fan*. My favorite level in the game has been with Ariel in Atlantis? Always got lost in there. Wonderland was fun, too.

I got to the *very* end of the first game, and wanted to do the extra bosses and try to run through all of the arenas. But then we moved and my brother lost the memory card my save was on, and I didn't feel like playing thru the game ALL over again. I know what happens anyways, so pfffft.

I did play through CoM though, and I own KH2 (came with my PS2 when I bought it off craigslist XD), I just haven't played it yet. XD

I liked KHI, even if I only got to the whale's stomach XD
Stupid whale.. I swear I went through ever section of that thing and
still couldn't find my way out = And then my brother lost it lol

Chain of Memories wasn't all that bad. Card system was a bit annoying,
though it was the first game I played with one. Real easy game.
Most of the story I just didn't get. But, it didn't seem TOO necessary to
know the story from the other games =b

It starts to get REALLY involved once you throw Roxas, the Nobodies, and the rest of Organization XIII into the mix.

This game I just started, though, I think is beginning to shed a lot of light on this subject.

Questing Ain't What it Used to Be...

I have the first one but to be honest I got bored of it. I think I only got to Tarzans world...

I really love how my character changed to match the world I was
in. That's what got me most =3
It was pretty and all. Nice music. Not just "Simple and Clean" lol

I've actually been a bit surprised by the series. It seems to me that it's focusing less on the Disney aspect and getting more involved in the other aspects. The Heartless, the Nobodies, everything else is becoming a bit more prominent that at the beginning of KHI.

Because the heartless have raped the world around them.

I always found kingdom hearts to be fascinating, for the way they made all the old Disney characters badass. The merging of Disney and Final Fantasy, however strange a concept, worked perfectly.

Also, I've still got my copy of KH II, and I don't play it...
