The forest is an unusual formation of trees composed out of solid stone instead of wood, at it appears as munch. The forest is generally used for outside training for all shinobi alike and serves as a good competing area during the chunin exams. Munch speculation surrounds the origin of the forest. Some say that from the constant built up of magma that rushes through the area every so often coats over the stone trees and cools off only to continue the cycle again to extend the thickness of trees. However in order for this to be true, the wood beneath the stone would have burned the moment the magma touched it. Therefore, no one truly knows what material underneath the stone is made up of.

Setsuka arrived at the forest and leaned against the tree. She was thinking about the chunin exams and the things she could do to improve her skill. She wasn't worried about her chances in reaching the preliminaries rounds. Her skill alone would take her to those matches. One of the major things she declined in was working with female team members, and maybe fighting against Hanako would help that. But there was no guarantee. She didn't exactly like Hanako and the match between them. For now she would fold her arms and lean against the tree until Hanako would show up.

Rengoru began with his one hand signs and seals to bring up the speed in the execution of all his movements. Then his speed by racing through the forest and throwing kunais at the branches. His kitana techniques and taijutsu cut branches into pieces as he stopped for a moment. "I am getting stronger with each passing moment here. Maybe I am ready for whats in store for me", thought Rengoru huffing and standing. He did a series of handsigns and summoned three clones and began to spar with eachother accumulating good evasive moves and bringing it back to the user.
A day had passed and the training felt like weeks as he struggled to his feet to eat and drink from the ramen shop and back again. Soon weeks past and he could see the changes in his body and techniques began to evolve to his liking.
He began to forge a sword from his old kitana and the stone from the forest to rebuild the sword and carried it to the volcanoe. He sliced twice as better than before and used azure stone fragments from the mushou district that was forced into his body to his advantage. The sword could now petrify a persons chakra inside the sword until needed.

Hanako saw Setsuka in the distance and waved her arms showing that she was there. She walked closer to her, reaching behind her and pulling out the ribbon that kept her hair tied back. Her hair moved like it was being tossed around by a wild wind, except there wasn't even a breeze to be felt. "Sorry to keep you waiting Setsekua-chan. Are you sure you want to do this?" Her eyes seemed determined to fight her squad mate, and perhaps she wanted to impress her.

The morning was bright and his injuries healed up and his chakra was replenished, he looked to the gates and carried his bags. He look at the sun's position as he walked through the village. As he passed he seen his reflection in the ponds he noticed a change in his apperance from his training.

He jumped from branch to branch going to the gates to await the arrival of briefing of the mission that the elder spoke of.

Standing atop one of the petrified trees in the clearing, she folded her arms. It had been a while since she came in the area for a spar. At least it would be something of that nature for her. For Rengoru it would be a situation of life or death, and depending on his actions would determine if he survived or not. Not only this, but he had to worry about his reputation as a shinobi. As far as she was concerned, she hadn't heard of the boy defeating any exceptional shinobi in the world. The only person she did hear of was someone by the name of Nemesis, and if he wasn't in the Flame's bingo book, then he wasn't worthy of being recognized as someone to take seriously. The air was still here, but the environment was fit for any type of fight. The area was wide enough to fight in, and there were no obstacles that would serve as distractions. All in all, there was no reason for any excuses. The result would be as they were.

The wind blew as Rengoru looked at Solame from the tree top where she was. It was obvious why she picked this spot...The battle with Ousha there was obstacles in the way, so with Nemesis. "She has done her homework it would seem. But whether or not", thought Rengoru as he closed his eyes and threw the jacket he wore.
Rengoru jumped and landed before the jacket could hit the ground, and reserved the chakra from the body flicker to get his ninja tools. Rengoru sword slithered out of its sheath as the azure blue blade of the kitana was placed up, and the hilt down. His hands down as he closed his eyes. The ANBU tatoo shown in the light from the cut off sleeve shirt and his legs was secure to the ground in a stance.
"Ladies first", said Rengoru as he looked at her with one eye. The second from behind was a short kitana that hung from the hilt a minature scroll. He awaited her in plain sight.

When it came to choosing the location, there was really no secret behind it. Solame had only chosen a place a bit more stranded from the rest of the village. It was simple. She wanted no excuses from this battle. The only thing that needed to come from it was a loser and a winner, nothing more or less. Obstacles were in every battle and they were meant to test a shinobi's strength and will. They were an essence of a shinobi's training and also part of the force that drove a shinobi's growth. If obstacles were used as an excuse to, then that person would be deemed as unworthy of being a shinobi. Obstacles themselves were part of life itself, and even the ordinary villager had to overcome them no matter how big or small. Dipping her head, Solame glanced down to find Rengoru at the bottom of the tree trunk standing in the middle of the forest's clearing. Brushing her pink bangs away from her eyes, she would began gracefully sliding down the belly of the tree until she landed on the ground. Once at rock bottom, she and Rengoru were nothing more than a few feet away from each other. Approximately five feet to be exact. Seeing that he had already drawn his weapon, she decided to draw hers. Grabbing the sleeve of her glove, she pulled it around her wrist and tightened it so that the plated symbol of the flame village shined on the surface of her knuckles. It was time to begin things now, and she hadn't planned on wasting anytime. Noticing the ANBU symbol on his shoulder, she decided that it was best to see this boy in full potential, therefore she would not kill him just right away. Instead she would allow him to demonstrate what he had learned in his time as an ANBU.

"Let's get this over with."

She said running towards the boy at a moderate speed. As she neared the boy, her arms flailed out and glinted with what seemed like a blade. However this was no blade, but Rengoru would find out had he not paid attention. After all, this battle could be his very last, it was up to him to change that or leave it at that. By the time the woman reached a ranged of close combat, instead of using her next step to continue running, she would use her foot to stomp the ground with a force that caused the ground underneath Rengoru uplift in a seesaw like manner. Instead of propelling him upward like a seesaw w,ould the ground underneath his feet in a ninety degree angle, causing him to be propelled in her direction at at more than twice the speed she had been running towards him.

Rengoru's eye that was open showed skill in taijutsu from Solame, but ears caught wind current as he performed a series of one handed seals and ran the opposite direction in higher speeds than Solame. Rengoru quickly reached in his pouch as he ran up the rock which was inclining, and threw three kunai with tags at Solame with close range was reached from his drop in speed and the earth shattering attack. Rengoru quickly ran over the rising rock of Solame's strength.
As Rengoru had crossed over from buying time from Solame's moderate speed compared to Rengoru running at a more higher speed, his evasive maneveur was almost complete but not without a going away present. Rengoru crossed and kick the rock her direction in its 90 degree angle, with the kunais flying her way and the rock as well the results was fatal. Rengoru got some distance and twittled his fingers of his left hand, for a counterattack.

Solame had her reasons for starting this battle off with moderate speed. The scenario she set up had required as munch. Because she had stomped her feet with such force into the ground, the uplift of the ground would rise with the same force in return as well. The attack was designed for propelling the opponent towards the user's direction, and Rengoru had fell victim to the technique by stepping on the earth that was uplifting. By the time he did this, there was no time for action. It similar to standing on a seesaw while a boulder was being dropped on the opposite side, it would allow no time for running nor pulling out explosive tags. He had miscalculated in observation of this technique. The smart thing to do was quickly, and by all means quickly jump in the air before the rock propelled him forward through the air to avoid being thrown. However the tricky part would have been the timing, and knowing the nature behind what she was doing. By the time the opponent would have figured this out, they would have already been propelled through the air just like Rengoru. As the boy flew towards her she would toss three explosive tags towards. At the speed he was thrown from the ground's uplift and at the speed the she had thrown the explosive tags, the two would surely collide had it not been for the three earlier explosive tags he had thrown which would make matters worst. At the moment she tossed the explosive tags, Solame would redirect herself by dodging backwards a couple of feet away just before the six explosive tags met and exploded with Rengoru in their vicinity. The very reason the woman had time to take cover was because she had been running forward with a 'moderate' speed from the very start. She had taken precaution in not increasing her speed purposely because she was aware of the attack she was setting up for the boy. Anytime the earth itself uplifted in a ninety degree angle with strength as such was the time for a person to abandon the ground if they could time it correctly, however Rengoru had taken it upon himself to stand upon the curling earth with increased speeds added to the speed the earth itself was catapulting him towards her, which left him no time to dodge the oncoming attack that was coming for him. Even if he had tried to brake himself from moving forward, by the time he would stop sliding, the explosive tagged kunai and the tagged kunai that Solame had thrown would have still collided, resulting in him still being caught up in the explosion. As the explosion took place, Solame had moved in front of the tree in which she had been standing on earlier. There she stood, watching as the explosion died out where Rengoru's body had collided with it.

"You should really pay attention to your movements in battle. No wonder you lost to Ousha. You're no different than a borderline academy student. To be honest I'm not even sure how you made it to the rank of jounin."

The propulsion that Solame was using in the equation was immediately transformed. By Rengoru running in a higher speed then Solame adds distance and time. Even if Solame had intended to she would pick up speed and that was her downfall, since Rengoru ran he used one hand seals and threw kunais. But as the ground rose was definate the amount of force she added to the ground was greater than the force Rengoru could do. But force can be interupted by resistance which Rengoru added everytime he stepped, decreasing the calculation time. Two opposing forces gave the time needed for the jump over.
The tags hit and Solame's flame tagged kunai hit the rock in an explosion. But that was the least of Solame's problem the kunais of Rengoru still was in effect as she left herself open. The open point of return had been lost as the kunais shown no sign of speed decreasing.

Being that the ground was basically a moving catapult underneath his feet, running was indeed the wrong option here. When there was a force pushing you forward, it only helped push you all the more further and faster which was a wrong move in this situation. Running on an earthly catapult with the strength Solame had exerted into the ground would prove to no avail in this situation. Only certain types of force could be resisted depending on the situation. In this situation in particular, resistance wasn''t an option. The only option lied in getting off of the ground that moved, which Rengoru did not. Decreasing calculation time was something that did not make any sense. One could not decrease calculation time, for the ground was not capable of calculating. The only two opposing force that they did have in the battle so far was the two exploding tags, and they did not leave any time whatsoever to dodge as a result of the situation Rengoru had put himself in. Solame had been running at a moderate speed level this entire time during the battle, and she had never made the mistake in picking up her speed which was what Rengoru did, which ultimately lead to him becoming victim to explosive tags. Running against curling earth would a hamster running in the opposite direction of a wheel, still causing him to get no where and be hit by the explosion of the kunai. This was what resistance meant in this situation. Either way he was still caught the brute of most of the explosion and would suffer sever burns. There was no getting out of it.Kunais may have been a true threat in Rengoru's world, however they did were no threat to Solame for she would simply deflect each of them by deflecting by knocking them away with the metal plated surface of her gloves causing sparks fly from them. There was no turning back in battle. The boy needed medical from the intense burns he had received from the explosion. His choices had lead him to this situation, and his death was imminent had things continued thew way there going.

((Im not playing this game. Its not a big deal.))
The enemy used the earth as a catapult and Rengoru heard the cracking of the earth as the earth rose. Rengoru used his kitanas as bases to the ground, also to slow his speed to a stop. Rengoru sheathed the short kitana from hearing the flapping of flame tags and whistling of the kunais. He quickly jumped evasively to the side barely dodging the barrage of weapons and tags. The left hand jerked as he felt the tampering of the kunais with the tags and he activated the chakra that were attached to the tagged kunais. Which sunt off an explosion milliseconds away of being deflected from Solame's hands. "Sou Shuu Jin", said Rengoru as he held his arm and blood splattered leg when his left hand jerked. In the smoke he summoned Ice columns to capture Solame from the explosion.

((As of now, this is the current condition of the battle. Rengoru is in critical condition due to taking the blunt explosion of three explosive tags for the following reasons: One, the cause of Rengoru being launched forward towards Solame was because he was standing on portion of earth that was catapulting him. Instead of figuring out a way to get himself off of the earth, he ran on this earth. Running in either direction on top of a moving catapult would end in failure for the simple reason that the force of a catapult swinging in motion was greater than a human's running speed. It was used to toss objects munch heavier than a human and any resistance applied to it would end in failure. There were ways to counter this situation, however Rengoru had chose the wrong one which was stepping on that catapulting piece of earth from the very beginning. With his already released explosive tags, his body would be traveling faster than the tags he had tossed with his increased speed added to it. It would take an incredible amount of resistance to halt his launch and it would prove difficult to slow yourself down in mid air. Even if he had been on the ground he would began sliding immensely towards the explosive tagged kunai which had collided into Solame's explosive tagged kunai. I have been taking note of each of these actions in the battle. Sage the physics that you were applying to this battle were invalid and used in the wrong manner. Example. A tv's inertia at the state of rest could be overcome by a human pushing against it. This in return would cause the tv to move depending on how large or small the mass of the tv was. The mass of a catapult was higher than a human's, and it's initial inertia in a state of motion would overcome any human's weight and any kinetic force exerted against it. So in so many words, resistance could be used in situations but it didn't mean it would succeed. The same could be said for a car driving into a human. A human could try pushing against it, and there would be resistance between the two. However the obvious would happen. But that is just a small 'example' on resistance on a larger scale than this battle just so you can understand. You have a choice. Your character's body has suffered critical burns and needs extreme medical attention. You can continue your battle or get medical help. It is your choice.))
