Maritsa sat flipping her tail in the shallow water, letting the glistening drops slide down her body. Sipping a icee Naim had brought her, she waited like a spider trying to trap a fly.

Unsuspecting, Natalia was taking a walk to clear her head. She had been having the oddest dreams lately, and they'd been confusing her. She kept calling in at home to make sure all the kids were actually alright, and every time after, she had a pounding headache to work off. Today, a walk was just what the healer had ordered. She could still hear her siblings yelling and her grandparents arguing. It was too much, really.

Maritsa sensed a presence not far from her, turning her head and tossing her long hair she watched as the pony approached. Hmm...Maybe this will cure my boredom. She smiled at the other pony as she continued to sip her icee.

Natalia Blinked as she came to the edge of the water. She didn't seem to notice the other pony as she spread her wings, clearly about to fly.

She paused, wings still spread, startled. It took a moment for her to breathe again, then she looked at the other pony finally. And stumbled back. She had to shake her head to clear it. No, that had just been a dream... "Ah.... you're not going to ask me to find a sacred book so we can pass, are you?" she asked, hesitantly as she glanced around. At least there was no pyro or the other insane girl here. That helped. One more alliteration, and she thought she would scream.

Maritsa raised an eyebrow as she sipped some more. "I assure you, I would not do that." She smiled serenely, "You've been on a long journey recently?"
