Blinking open her tired eyes, Foun gazed around to take in her surroundings. The sun was above the horizon already, but with all of the buildings around it was hard to tell. She stretched out her limp muscles, feeling each one contract and expand wonderfully. Her jaws opened in a wide yawn that seemed to suck away all of her grogginess.
Looking down, she saw her littermates all still sleeping. Instead of waking everyone up, she nudged Calib awake with a paw poking his side. "Get up," she whispered into his ear. Although he seemed to be sleeping peacefully, she wanted to go exploring and knew he was the one most likely to join her. At least, that's what she thought.

CalibCalib lay sleeping dreaming of playing with his brothers and sister, then he felt a prodding in his side and he kicked gently to shoo it away then he heard a small voice and he knew it was Foun his sister. he groggily opened one eye "whats up Foun?" he asked as he got up and strected tehn shook himself to wakeup. " is something wrong?

Foun glanced around, making sure that no one else was waking up. "Nothing's the matter. I just wanna go out and explore instead of waiting here with nothing to do." Her eyes shone as she spoke. Her tail wagged behind her in anticipation and excitement. "Let's go!" Her whisper was nearly broken as her voice squeaked. She looked expectantly at her brother.

"O ok" he looked around to male sure no one heard them and began to walk " where do you want to go? this is your idea so you lead" he said with a smile waging his tail. he shook one last time as he waited for her to decide where to go and yawned.he was still tired but was happy to go out even though he thought that Quileute would probably worry when she woke to find out they had gone.

Foun followed after her brother, glad that he decided to come along. After he asked her, though, about where she planned to go her step faltered. "Hmm..." she thought. That's when she remembered passing the big park before they had come to their new home. "Let's go to that cool park we saw before!" She yipped merrily. They had already turned the corner and were walking along. Her tail was wagging fiercely and she only focused on what lay ahead of her and her brother. The humans walking around them didn't affect her, not yet at least.

He eagerly followed after her a park sounded like a good idea but he was a little more weary of the people around him he watched everyone who walked by for fear someone might try something. he had seen some dogs getting stroked and didn't much like the idea of it. but he was happy to be going " do you remember where the park is Foun? he asked wagging his tail

"'Course I do!" She barked. She noticed that Calib was nervous around the people. Weaving through the walking legs, she made it to stand next to her brother. Any time anybody came to close, she let out a ferocious bark. At least that's what she thought. In truth, it was just a normal, cute puppy bark. Finally they came to a spot where the humans were just standing on the edge of the sidewalk. Curious, Foun stepped into the crowd to see why they all had stopped. Soon her gray coat disappeared within the group.

Calib watched as his sister barked at the eople then continued to walk with her till they came to a group of people that had just stopped at the edge of the sidewalk. he looked at them and backed up a little till Foun walked right into the crowd and disapeared. he had a bad feeling about her going into there and he could hear a strange rumbling noise then he remembered where they were and that it was not safe to cross without the noises to stop he quickly ran in and found foun right as she got to the edge he grabbed he scruff and pulled her back right as one of the noisy things passed. "we better be careful here lets wait for the people to cross"

Foun yelped in suprise as Calib grabbed her scruff and yanked her back. Once he let go she shook her fur and looked to him. "I wasn't gonna cross!" She barked at him loudly. She then blinked as she realized that he was only looking out for her. "I'm sorry," she licked his cheek before watching the loud creatures that zoomed by on the hot and sticky pavement.
Soon enough the people began jostling one another to get across the street. The loud creatures had stopped and were rumbling quietly to themselves. With a nudge to her brother, Foun set off after the humans.

as they crossed the street he watched the noisy things sitting rummbling hoping they wouldnt start to move while he was crossing he was bout halfway across then adn decided to just run the rest of the way to ensure he made it across but when he got to the other side stopped on the and looked for Foun she was still crossing but so were the people and he waited patiently for her to catch up and take the lead again." im sorry i grabbed you back there but i thought you weren't going to stop" he said with his head down a little.

Foun followed after Calib, but kept her pace normal as her brother raced ahead. She was alert, just in case the rumbling creatures started up. Luckily, though, she didn't have to worry because her paws hit the sidewalk long before the rest of the humans had finished crossing. "'S alright. I know you were just looking out for me." She smiled and then led her brother along the sidewalk.
Various scents now hit her nose, enticing her senses. There was the strong scent of the stuff humans sprayed onto themselves, the fumes from the rumbling creatures and the buildings, the rich aroma of cooking meat, and the faint but growing smell of dogs and of thick grasses. Smiling to herself, Foun walked down the cemented walkway toward the park.

he followed as she took the lead again then he began to small all sorts of thing some better than others likt the icky smell of things the humans spayed on themselves and the smell of the rumbling creatures but then there was the yummy smell of meat cooking and dogs they must be getting close now cause the sent was getting stronger. "hey i smell alot of other dogs now we must be getting close. this is going to be so much fun"

Foun glanced at her brother and smiled. "Yeah. I can't wait 'till we get there." Her eyes seemed to sparkle a little brighter, her step had a little more bounce to it. Soon the wide patch of green came into view. It was just beyond this sidewalk. They'd need to cross to the other sidewalk only one more time before they were there! Her bushy brown tail wagged behind her vigorously as they drew nearer.

he looked at his sister as they came to the end of the sidewalk and quickly looked to see if and noisy things were around not seeing any he took off at a full run to the other side running right up to the nearest dog wagging his tail as fast as the little thing would go.he was sooo exited he ran around from one dog to the next not even bothering to stop and sniff anyone or giving them a chance to either before long they were all following him around trying to get a quick sniff but he continued to run.

Foun laughed at Calib's hyperactive antics. She followed behind him at a slower rate. She greeted a few dogs, sniffing and getting sniffed. After that, though, she began to explore the park grounds. She kept away from the humans, but she wandered around to get an idea of what was where.
